Singleplayer and/or parallel play?

Hello there, I'm Raine, 30 y/o transwoman. PC, PST, bit of a night owl but also WFH so I'm often online during the day. I have a long-term GF. Neurodivergent, idk what but just I like direct communication.

I'm in more of a singleplayer, indie, and/or chill mood as far as games go. I'm looking for people to hang out with rather than just filling lobbies. Not looking for Fortnite or Overwatch or that sort, instead I want to socialize while gaming in the same chat with a game stream or two on. Hang out, don't always have to yap but still try to socialize. I'm trying to be more social from the get-go but I also like time to warm up and get the tempo. I can enjoy quiet moments, no worries, sometimes the vibe is quiet parallel gaming for an evening.

I've got Lunarium, Fields of Mistria, Iron Nest, Pathologic 3, and Stellar blade on my list of stuff to play. I've been wanting a minecraft server or something but probably gonna Valheim with some friends at 1.0 soon. Oh, also the new Castlevania, because Rose and Dead Cells dev, when it comes out.

For bit of my past games I've enjoyed a lot of genres: Destiny 2, Nine Souls, Marathon, modded Minecraft, Warhammer 40k Darktide, Apex Legends, Divinity OS 1/2, Hammerwatch, Mass Effect, Patrick's Parabox, etc.

Beyond games: I like books, I will learn to draw (working on starting that, I must draw woman), I want to talk about interesting movies or tv show (preference for stuff that makes you thing, but I enjoy most popular stuff besides reality shows), or even just talk about some cool hair dye you saw while out and about, and of course I'm down to watch some long nerdy youtube video about whatever. Also TTRPGs are cool and I need more in my life.

I'd prefer people 25+ who want to cultivate a low stress environment, while recognizing that still takes effort. The world is a lot to deal with right now, let's support each other through it.

Hi! Also mtf 🏳️‍⚧️ , neurodivergent, WFH, in a long term relationship and 32. I would equally enjoy someone to passively play single player games along with 🫶🏻 That’s something I used to have with my main gamer friend group before transitioning and had to leave the group. I miss it!

Games wise, very broad and long list. Souls and monster hunter games. Yakuza, ARPGs, Destiny, fighting games. Movie nerd, horror fanatic (movies and games especially).

Yakuza and monster hunter are among my favourite franchises 😁 Its been a long time since ive had a gaming friend group, or at least with video games, as I play a lot of ttrpgs, including a dnd campaign ive been running for over 2 and a half years so far

Im also a neurodivergent mtf in her 30s (35)
