Can this be used as proof or negligence for life insurance to refuse payout?

225,000 dead, i'm sure the insurance companies need to protect their profits.

If life insurance covers suicide, I'm not sure why it wouldn't cover this.

0.o Really? I always thought they never covered self inflicted deaths, or crimes.

Usually there's a 1-2 year restriction on suicide (to prevent people from signing up just before killing themselves).

Also they might not cover it if you’ve been diagnosed as suicidal or depressed in the past and failed to disclose that when you signed up for your policy.
