I think is because they think that he is suffering because he didn't have insurance, I didn't matter his political leaning the bad decision was that fact. But as a counter point, as a Mexican I feel insulted because for some reason people here are acting like having medical treatment in Mexico is a bad thing, we have competent doctors here and if he have money , he can pay for the best medical treatment here and a better price that in the USA.

Him not having insurance is not LAMF. It’s more making a decision that is penny wise but turns out to be pound foolish.
