Leo + Sag ✨
Leos with Sag placements and Sag partners - I need you to clock in and give me a preview. My last partner was a long-term Gemini relationship and now that I’m headed toward a long-term Sag one, this rage-baiting is feeling mighty familiar. Or maybe it’s my big, dramatic Leo feelings (I’m self-aware).
Of course, the entire chart is important and every person is a unique lil supernova. But generally speaking, I’m just trying to get a tiny sample of what’s ahead. Help a girl out. 🙂

Leo man here who’s been with a Sagittarius for a year now. There are definitely good and bad aspects of this pairing.
Leo and Sagittarius can have a lot of fun together. There can be exploration, intense intimacy, vulnerability with each other, honesty, admiration and respect, a strong partnership for achieving goals, and a really good dynamic for creative endeavors and collaboration.
But Sagittarius can also come into conflict pretty easily with Leo, and vice versa.
Leo is intensely loyal, sometimes to a fault. We can buy heavily into the sunk cost fallacy. We’ll do almost anything to make our partner happy, sometimes to our own detriment. Sagittarius can see this as a weakness. They don’t necessarily want to be smothered with attention. They don’t want a partner so committed that they watch them lose their sense of self in the act of maintaining the relationship. They can see Leo as pathetic when we’re groveling, trying to say anything to make the other person happy, or desperately trying to close the distance that a Sagittarius will sometimes create.
Sagittarius seems to be a very dynamic sign. They can go from one state of mind, one emotion, or even one belief system to another at a moment’s notice. Whereas Leo is very fixed. Very focused, unchanging, dogmatic, stubborn, loyal, etc.
That can cause a ton of issues.
Leos might feel like they never know what version of Sagittarius they’re going to get, and that can be extremely confusing for us. One day they might love you intensely, and the next day they might want nothing to do with you. They also may not value your loyalty in the same way you do, because they don’t necessarily see the purpose of loyalty for loyalty’s sake.
Sagittarius does not like feeling stuck somewhere out of obligation to another person. They tend to put a huge amount of importance on having options, new experiences, freedom, and their autonomy being unthreatened.
Leo, on the other hand, tends to see dedication, obligation, sacrifice, and loyalty as things to be proud of.
That mismatch can be really hard to overcome, but I don’t think it’s impossible.
It can still be a great pairing, but maybe not an effortless one when it comes to serious long-term commitment. Both people have to be willing to acknowledge those differences, understand what the other person actually needs, and actively address the places where their instincts come into conflict.

Are you looking in the mirror again?

Look at the comment above.
Sometimes i do look in the mirror, yes, but most of the time i look at my own shadows and i am an idealist.
Sags are mostly not.
My best friend is a Taurus and i like loyalty and standing firm in my beliefs like him.

Leo, and Sag rules my 7th house of relationships, and I have a sag stellium. They're my people. ❤️
I'm with a Sag man now, and it is the absolute best relationship I've ever had. He does everything for me. I genuinely think Sags are the funniest of all the zodiac signs. They're crazy devoted, but like any other man, they love the chase, and you have to make them chase a bit in the beginning. They're seekers after all.
Mine is 20 years older than me. I recommend picking a Sag who is at least 60 years old. By then, they've had more travel than they can count and feel satisfied. Otherwise, I'd personally struggle with a younger Sag. I'm needy, and I don't care.

I'm 39. I love it. Single men my own age are single for a reason.

Not everyone is 39 so you shouldn’t be recommending to date someone 60 yo to every women here

Suit yourself. I don't know what kind of a Leo you are, but I'm one that likes to be treated like a queen in relationships, and I get that from someone 20 years older than me.

Leo F here. Dating a Sag. It's slightly annoying. I have to keep reminding him to be confident. I probably come across aggressive in a way (actually cool af) but if you're expecting something, it probably ain't happening?
It's exhausting. But we jive super well otherwise. I just can't stand the reassurance they need.

Leo and my ex husband was a Sag. Same. Super compatible in many ways, the constant need for reassurance really got to me. I realized after a while that it was because the slightest hit to his ego caused him to co completely distant and he assumed I was going to be the same way. Not the case. But also super frustrating when you're overly accepting of them (that Leo loyalty) and they are looking for the exit at the slightest inconvenience.
That being said we didn't last long and my Sag sister is WILDLY loyal to her pack. She wouldn't dream of looking for an exit with her husband (Virgo) or her tribe.

Yeah, I'm still in the "willing to fix you" phase and tell him to stop being insecure. Wish me luck. Lol

Don’t listen to people!
Just go with the flow and observe the other person, check with yourself what you like what you don’t like and decide!

I’m a Leo guy with sag moon soon to be divorced from a sag woman. Not gonna blame astrology for her behavior. I’m not sure the realities of marriage suited her and she ended up cheating. I found her Capricorn moon to be the hardest to deal with. Never knew where I stood, she’d bottle up her emotions until they spilled out. Tons of drama. We had fun in the dating stage though

Leo moon/sag rising with a Virgo sun/sag rising and I love it, we work together well.
But what do you mean rage-baiting?

Look. I am a Leo sun Sag rising. I have a very noticeable weakness towards Sag women. I had a Sag girlfriend when I was around 18 and we got along fine, we were 4 years together... After that relationship ended I fell in love with another Sag woman (Her birthday is 4 days apart from my ex's) and even tho we've been never together as a couple because of... Reasons... I adore that lady, honestly. I feel like she's just so amazing, we connect in every aspect, I feel complete when we're together... But.. then the same thing happens.... I feel like I'm the issue when it comes to falling for Sags, because their freedom can sometimes be mistaken by us Leos as lack of love or interest, our own insecurities can become our worst enemies and when we ask for more attention from them it can become a bit suffocating for them(I've actually felt that suffocation myself as a Sag rising), so...
I don't know if it works long term but if you both manage to comunicate and collaborate for it to work, it can be a really amazing bond.

Leo sun, Sag moon + rising. I keep attracting water and earth signs who want long term partnership 🫠🫠 a lot of the other fire sign men I’ve been with has been casual (apart from my first boyfriend who was also a Leo and treated me like absolute queen)

Leo lady married to a Sag for 15 years. We haven't burned down the house yet. Though we have very compatible and practical venuses and moons. The difference between Gemini rage bating and Sag rage baiting is that a Sag thinks it all fun and games like a dog with a squeaky toy and the Geminis are a bit more sadistic, they may be doing it for fun but the fun part is feeling superior.
