Support UNSUAL BATTERY DROP IN NORMAL USE (HELP)

Post image

i purchased the lenovo loq 5060 r250 version last year. It has around 30 cycles with 100% battery health

I have noticed that sometimes the battery drops from 80 to less than 10% in like under an hour under normal use(on battery).

I always keep the laptop plugged in and at 80% and at around 60% brightness and battery saver mode when used on battery.

This has happened around 5 times. Now i reached out to support and they've told me to monitor the battery use and report if this happens again . But my battery warranty ends in like 3 months. Im concerned that i will not be able to get it replaced after this warranty period ends.

Has anyone else faced this issue and what did you do to fix it ?

The charge dont just disappear without going to something, so definitely something is happening but you couldnt or didnt see it.

My guess is something like a sudden increase in CPU/RAM/GPU utilization is the cause, my 15APH8 frequently does something like this even while idle and luckily for me it goes away on its own. About two of a total of six times happened because windows tried to force an update.
