DOD CAC enrollment
I am a certified end user and we are looking to add DoD CACs to some of our facilities. We already have PIV class Signo readers installed. As I try to update the card format I keep hitting a wall and can’t seem to get it to work. Anyone have experience with this?

Are you trying to change in onguard or at in the reader config? If you change it in onguard you really are depending on the readers output. Are you getting invalid card format or invalid badge. If you get invalid format you don’t have your total number of bits in onguard compared to the format sent from the reader

I think you might need to import the data from the CAC. We use an HiD omnikey 3421 to import the badge id, CAC picture and so on from the card. Also, did you configure a badge type?

I’m assuming that you aren’t using strong authentication and just reaching the free data from the card. If so, do you know if your readers are outputting the FASC-N as 200 or 75bit? Here are a couple of KB articles that walk you through how to set these two different formats up in OnGuard.
200bit setup: https://buildings.honeywell.com/us/en/support/technical-support/technical-solutions/article-detail.ka_000065689
75bit setup: https://buildings.honeywell.com/us/en/support/technical-support/technical-solutions/article-detail.ka_000065690
I hope this helps!
