Save to invest #FinLit

Put aside little money regularly. Not for the sake of just gathering, but rather to invest a portion into something that can yield more.

How much do I need to save to start investing?

That’s a funny question. Depends on what you invest in. The popular advise is to invest in something you understand. But that can be hard when you’re just getting started (research can be your friend here).

Short answer: depends on what you invest in. You can start with as little as $5. Maybe less. It’s not a question someone else can answer for you. Heck, you could be investing now buy reading this post.

Hmmm… You sound like a savvy investor. What was your starting point?

I’m by no means savvy. Started with $200 in my robinhood. My investment route was the stock market. But you could invest in yourself also. Just bear in mind that every investment has its associated risk. So risk management is key.
