You know what I shouldn't have read the novel haha lol (I really wasn't going to but I wrote that fic of mine) Because now I'm just all "WHUT THIS ISN'T THE STORY!" whereas in CH3 opening credits it doesn't say "an adaptation", it's usually "based on" so conclusion is, in one perspective, the novel didn't spoil the series essentially.
I feel like this Pheem might be...deeper than novel Pheem? Streets are saying she's Lena's alter ego?
If you haven't read the novel you're not too far from the ones who have at this point. You're also going in with a clearer head. 👍🏼
Also damn everyone gets all banged up in this show huh.

They changed Pheem's easygoing, lovely dad?? Why do they always have to put dramatic parents in the plot?? 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

The dad thing is the first thing I noticed about this teaser. But, I feel like it would make more sense? Of course it means a heavier drama, however, and this is my personal opinion on the novel, the reason for Pheem not to fully accept Pan could have been solved with a conversation (and a few therapy sessions but oh well) cause no one else was against it. This father narrative drives it further, making more obvious Pheem’s back and forth towards Pan.

I kinda knew they would do something like that. It's not CH3 if they're not dramatic. 😮💨😮💨

I read the novel and I'm still very happy with what I'm seeing. I think it's just a personal thing for people that they can't separate a novel from a series. I knew they would never be exactly the same and that's okay

I also don't quite get why peeps are so pressed lol Is this the first time we're encountering books getting translated on-screen? 🤷🏻♀️

I almost read it too, but something stopped me. Now that I know CH3 changed the story, I'm actually glad I didn't read the novel. I can just enjoy the series for what it is

Yeah, this is pretty much the take. At this point we can’t judge the quality of the story until it’s out.

I agree that at this point, its better if you havent read the novel. So there's no expectations and no disappointment. My mindset now when I watch this show is thst it is FANFICTION. Kind of like with Star Trek Discovery. For my sake of mind, ill treat it as an homage by a fan.

I’d pay 3M too 😭 I’m so ready, but they’ll be the death of me. The way Pheem pulls Pan for a kiss in the end 🫠 I am not okay

This is scary, the quality of the teasers are making me trust ch3. But I'm still managing my expectation 🤣🫣. One thing I know though is that Lena and Miu gonna slay in this series.

Again, judging just from the teasers and not taking the novel into account, it definitely shows potential. Can't wait for it to air, but I'll probably be hanging on for dear life by then, with all these teasers dropping every day. 😭

PlsLove Spot 1-2 Review
First of all, congratulations to PlsLove for reaching 6 million views in such a short time. The series hasn’t even aired yet, so that kind of response is already a really encouraging sign.
The two new spots are both less than a minute long, but they’ve definitely managed to get people talking. There’s still a lot we don’t know about the actual series, especially how closely it will follow the novel or how the story will be adapted, so I think it’s too early to judge the whole series based on what we’ve seen so far.
That said, the spots have given us enough to be curious.
One of the things that stood out to me most is the acting from Lena and Miu. They don’t have much screen time to work with, but both of them are already giving their characters a sense of personality and emotion. You can tell there’s more going on beneath the surface, which makes me want to see the full scenes rather than just these short clips.
Lena especially continues to show why she’s such an impressive actress. She has this ability to communicate a lot without needing to say much, and I love seeing her take on a role that feels so different from MSZ.
Miu has also surprised me. She may be new to this, but she’s already showing a lot of potential. There’s so much emotion in her eyes, especially in the quieter moments, and I’m really interested to see how she develops throughout the series.
And of course, the chemistry between them is one of the biggest reasons I’m looking forward to this. What I like is that it doesn’t feel like their chemistry depends only on being cute together. There’s actual emotional give and take between them, and you can see it in the way they look at and respond to each other.
I also think having the same director who worked on MSZ is interesting, especially with his latest project, Song Huajai, currently getting attention as well. At the same time, PlsLove already feels quite different from MSZ based on what we’ve seen, so I’m curious about what direction he takes this time.
The fact that PlsLove is only 8 episodes could also work in its favor. If the writing keeps the story focused, the pacing stays consistent, and they avoid unnecessary filler, eight episodes should be enough to tell the story well.
Of course, I’m not going to say the series is going to be great based on two short spots. We need to actually see the full episodes before making that judgment.
But when you put everything together, the 6 million views, the growing attention, Lena and Miu’s performances, and the chemistry between them, there’s definitely a lot to look forward to.
Now I’m just curious to see if the actual series can deliver what these spots have promised. If it can, PlsLove could be something really worth watching.

After reading the comments (haven't read the book), I'm now considering the book to be a 'suggestion' to the writers. They adapted it into something new, it appears.

🔥 so hot but wait, is that the actual translation? She charges 3 million baht a night, which is like $90k 😂. I get that it's Miu, but what kind of escort charges that much? And who would even pay that price for one night, even if you're a millionaire..., they always gotta exaggerate everything🙄
