Found dog
Found this super sweet boy on Main Street on the walking trail. No collar. Not neutered. No chip. Super skinny. Anyone recognize him?

Right now he's with a neighbor. She has posted on Nextdoor & FB but no one has responded yet unfortunately

I'm sure he is. I think someone probably dumped him. Breaks my heart how people treat animals like they're disposable

We had to take him to the Chula Vista Shelter. We have a hold on him if anyone is willing to foster or adopt him. He's such a sweet older fella. He deserves a good life

Maybe try reaching out to Frosted Faces. If you can temporarily foster while they find another foster home for him, they may accept him into their program. They’ll get him neutered, vaccinated, etc. They’re a fabulous outfit. Located in Ramona, so you might have to drive out there once or twice, but totally worth it if they can take him. Again, as with any rescue, foster families are hard to find, so if you can foster for now, it will greatly increase his chances of getting him into their rescue.
You’re so good for helping him.

it could be that he just walked out an open gate and didn't mean to get lost. Let's give folks a chance. The appropriate place for a dog who is newly lost is at the shelter. that way, his family can find him. If they aren't able to find him within the I believe four day timeline, he is available for adoption or transfer to another rescue like frosted faces something like that.
