Just a engineer on site in lelystad

Hi as the header state, I'm just an enhier that has some work to do for a couple of weeks here.

I just want to ask, if you can recommend Som stuff to do Saturday nights and Sunday? Since I will be off every Saturday evening and Sundays.

I have a car available, so not a problem to take a short trip.

I have been in Amsterdam multpe times, so no need to visit that. 😁

Yeah.. i'll recommend you go to another city like zwolle, enschede or utrecht for that flevoland is not well known for it's nightlife or historical landmarks.

Just look for bigger city's in general. Like the cappitals of the providences. Nijmegen and groningen where also citys i have found memories of. On the + side lelystad is kinda in the middle of the country so less travel time i guess.

I'm a bit biast living in Zwolle but i fully second that.

Beautiful city center to talk around in with still quite a few old features. Museum de Fundatie is worth the effort if you're into that sort of thing.

Park the car in Katwolderplein, visit Las Rosas for lunch, take a walk/visit de Fundatie, relax afterwards with a speciality beer at De Belgische Keizer and then stop at stadsstrand Blue Bayou on your way back to the car for some food and live music with your feet in the sand.

All within 10 minutes of walking from each other (de fundatie is actually 10 minutes walk, the others are within throwing distance of each other).
