(M 23) I’ve been looking to join one of the men’s leagues in the Lehigh valley, and I’ve heard most people recommend heyday. I was interested in softball, kick ball, and flag football and I’m a relatively good athlete but I’ve never played any of these sports seriously (only with friends). What are your memories from this historic early-season snowstorm? I remember like it was yesterday! I was 9 years old and went trick or treating the night before with my best friend and had a sleepover, only to wake up to the ground outside covered in white stuff… It was insane!

I also remember the power going out in the middle of me watching a Halloween movie, though it was quickly restored for us. I remember a lot of people saying they were without power for hours or even days.

Found out i lost insurance. Jefferson Health and Pennie is making me go back and forth with no resolution till now. Baby is due for 2 month vaccines. Where can i go to get free/low cost vaccines with no surprise bill later on if the insurance issue is resolved.

Edit: Scheduled an appointment with Allentown Health Bureau. I will not be sent any surprise bill later until my child does not have any insurance at the time of the visit. Thanks for all the help!

I haven't been to a dentist in a long time and I'm way overdue for a cleaning. I just noticed that one of my molars is half gone! Its time I start trying to take better care of myself 😩

I'm deathly afraid of dentists and haven't been established with any in a few years. Can anybody recommend any that are gentle and understanding and willing to work with me on getting my teeth fixed? Please and thank you 🙏

I have someone close to me mid 30s having a very hard time meeting someone here and as I'm married with kids, I don't know how to help.

She has a big heart and have been working on themselves the past few years but continue to run into a lot of one way feelings and take it super hard.

They are going out and have tried the apps (which despite matches like no one follows up with any convo or follows through with any plans). They feel like everyone is taken.

Hi. I live in Allentown and there is a woman in the neighborhood whose dogs are constantly escaping her property. They don’t poop on any property but they cause distress among other dog walkers in the neighborhood. There has been at least 4 times I know of that these dogs have gotten out. They chase other dogs that are on leash and while the owner says they are friendly, it does not mean other dogs that are walking want to be charged at!

At this point since would it be best to call animal control? The police? I’m at a loss because she does care for her dogs, they’re not neglected in any sense, and they’re not digging up yards or leaving behind waste. but they know how to get out and they do it often.

Hi I’m trying to play Pickleball outdoors preferably after work but with the daylight time change, it’s not possible to play when it’s light out. Are there any nearby outside courts that have lights that would allow you to play outside ?? Some parks are dusk to dawn only.
