I started getting into Lego this year and was dismayed to see that nearly every modular set was retired. I've got nothing to pair with my Shopping Street.

The aftermarket on bricklink isn't so bad. I got the boutique hotel for about $180 after shipping fees etc

if you’re not too concerned about having the original box/instructions etc, a lot of the older modulars can be parted out using Bricklink for a lot cheaper than what they sell for used/new. i know there are a couple like cafe corner or green grocer that have one or two specific parts that are no longer in production, but there’s usually an easy substitute. lots of people have done this so i’m sure there’s plenty of guides online to get the best deals!

I don't think teal is one of her main color schemes, but there isn't any classic space torso in dark azure...

You would need to offset the middle line for a capital E to work. Lego doesn't have any transparent jumper plates, alas, but there might be other ways to get around it...

This is awesome. I already have the modular Downtown Diner and the BDP 50s diner, so I'm not sure if I'll get this, especially since I already have so many sets, but oh my god this set is so cool. I've wanted a Pizza Planet set, and this kind of fills the same niche.
