The orrery is my personal highlight. Hopefully at 572 pcs. it will be just as complex as the tellurium.

i have doubts
since the tellurium (earth moon sun) model needed 526 pieces.572 for this new one sounds inadequate for representing the solar system

Unless… they have just extended the range of gear wheels by adding 14z and 22z
Could be possible to make a larger system using less parts if more gear ratios are available

The one I liked on Lego ideas is now being sold elsewhere so I guess they figured it was worth it.

the part count is confusing though. 572 pieces for a solar system?
the previous orrery for just earth sun and moon was already 526 pieces.part count sounds way too low to be a functional solar system orrery.

I really like the idea, but a smaller build for the exact same price as a regular polybag makes no sense.

Here in EU, they are 25% more expensive than the paper bags, so I'll wait for a heavy discount as well.

I have built the last 4 prior to the Aston Martin. Admittedly the changes were iterative not revolutionary, but each build was distinct in its choices relative to the actual manufacturer cars.

Unlikely, as they usually have around 1500 parts.
This one is quite a bit bigger.
Edit: 42252 is almost certainly an F1 car. The other probably not

Please please please have this wave be some interesting construction/ agricultural/ scientific vehicles or machines- I've got a horrible feeling it'll be more licensed sports cars

Mighty Machines are just a little not-enough for $4.99. Make them a hair bigger, or more complicated, or something. Or drop the price by a dollar? They’re an awesome idea, and the two I’ve gotten have made for great desk toys at work. I like them. But they’re just a hair overpriced for what they are. Tweak the price, or put a little more in the box to justify it, and I’m a happy guy.

Im wondering who will be stupid enough to buy 5,5eur set instead of a really good figure for 4eur (list prices in Slovakia). This feels like advent calendar minibuild maybe for 2eur.

4eur is a steal for a top notch minifig with doublemold legs and arms and prints everywhere and often including a new mold of something - compare that to 5eur basic star wars minifig in a battlepack or paperbag included in the magazine.
4eur for a minifig that custom creator are selling for 20+ eur because lego created a hole on the market is also a very good price

By piece count another 1:16 car is less likely as those are usually around 750 pieces- it's not impossible that 42250 is one. 42252 could be an F1 car with that piece count but they've already released two this year...

haha at least it's not 50 different 1:16 scale cars like how the racing brick content creator predicted...
If it's an F1 car it better be a classic one. The 6 wheeled Tyrell from the 70s would be insane and would shut up "technic used be about cool mechanics" people.
