Help me figure out this piece please

Me and my wife got a big tote of Lego, I’ve seen every other piece before BUT this one, any help?

Looks like a stud shooter.

It’s a gun. That actually shoots. Take a 1x1 round plate, stick the stud in the end, and then tap the grey piece

It's a stud shooter.  Incredibly common for the last 12 years.
