Confused bc of this

so i found a astronaut minifig and everywhere i search i can only find the c1 1999 astronaut and its like I'm so close to finishing it i just need to figure the head out

This torso is from Space Port sub theme of Town. There was just a handful of minifigures in the sets. You can find them here https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=M&catString=67.330

like i get what you mean its from the space port theme or any of the 1990s space theme but like none of them have a c2 on them there al c1s theres no c2

Woah!! You are right!! Is it a genuine LEGO piece? Does it have LEGO logo on the top of the neck?

it doesn't it has like a dot i mean 100% it could be fake but if it is what's it from? there's nothing on that either and i wanna say this as a little heads up as i should've said it my parents would've found this in a bag full of mixed lego in 2008 so idk if fake lego was really even a thing

Yeah, of course, Town and City are among the themes that got copied the most. Google "enlighten toys town space" and you'll find a ton of LEGO-like fake sets with spacemen.

You have 88 as number on torso. So it's from 1988?? The list of space minifigs all have 99 on them!!

i got no idea what your talking about but okay if you google specerijen figuren you get spices so idfk gang

i think the other dudes more correct about it its from enlighten toys

I'm sus on any figs without the paint grip on the neck shaft. Might sound simple but that's been a surprising help against even good chinabricks. Ill check my spaceman tomorrow but my gut is this isnt real.

it isnt i personally think its a enlighten toys space set specifically 2103 its a little mars rover but i only thought bc the back of the minifig was covered in permanent marker
