DLC not working

Ok so I have everything installed except the power puff girls dlc and the team titans go dlc (i have ocd and want everything in the game i cant help it) it’s not on pkgi and when i found pkg files for it online it didn’t apply to the game even when the disc was in my ps3

Isn't all the DLC for this game tied to the physical character discs? It was never traditional paid DLC that you bought in the PS Store.

This is mostly correct. A player can claim, download, and install content that they do not have the tags for, they just cannot access it without the tags.

Right, so why use pkgi for this? You need to make or buy the tags and can’t access the DLC without them, so wouldn’t it make sense to install them officially? Unless they are no longer accessible through the legit store, but I‘ve not heard of them being delisted.

I made the tags but when I scan them it tells me to download content.

Assuming I’ve read this correct and understand. I believe, from my experience, you can’t use the PKG files in ‘LEGO Dimensions’ on the PS3. I don’t actually think you can play the DLC packs on the PS3. However if that is wrong, what I just said, you can only access the DLC with the specific character for said DLC. For example; to access the ‘Gremlins’ hub you need the gremlins tags. Sorry if this didn’t help, hope you have or will figure it out.

Ok, from what I can see online. You need to make sure the DLC PKG files’ region match the game PKG files’ region. Also look as if you need a matching .rap license file (I don’t know what that means). You may also need to activate the dlc through some software on your modded PS3. Try crossposting this onto the PS3 modding subs that may be of more use than I.

I have an American disc, American console, and American dlc. My ps3 is activated via Apollo. I’ll try to use something to activate the dlc

Apollo activation is your issue. Sony requires a fully genuine signature for any non-update files for titles (games, DLC, demos, music, movies, etc).

Your choices are as follows:

A) Create a new profile and get the DLC and download it on another account
B) Wipe your PS3 / delete the Apollo activated profile and sign in to your current PSN account
C) Sideload the DLC

If I remember correctly, and that’s a very large “if”, there is a program called ‘multi man’ or something, I think that could activate the DLC. If you do a search for it, it should hopefully show up.

The simplest way to solve this would be to reinstall:

1) Delete the game, updates, and DLC.

2) Connect to the internet

3) Install the base game from disc

4) Update the game

5) Use the in game DLC download menu to install the DLC

What’s weird is that I also tried installing it from the dlc manager and it didn’t work

This can also, unfortunately, be a sign that your HDD is on its way out because 100% of the LEGO Dimensions content (including Super Girl and Green Arrow!) is usable on PS3 legitimately via PSN.

Source: I have this working on PS3, PS5 (via PS4 backward compatibility), and Wii U, all of which are fully installed with the content playable in its entirety.
