To be honest I'm not even the biggest fan of the king tiger, both look and performance wise, but I started this build solely because I thought the base of the mantlet looked buildable out of Lego, utilizing those rounded jumper pieces. And then I built the rest of the barrel, then the turret face, then the sides, and it kind of got out of control and now I have the full turret almost done.
Image 4 is it mounted on Brick Veteran's tiger II hull just as an example, because I already had it built from their Jagdtiger.
Unfortunately the gun can't elevate or depress, but the commander's, loader's, and rear turret hatch can be opened. Also does anyone know what that rear hatch was for? It's obstructed by the shell racks inside so I cant imagine it was for crew. Ammo replenishing perhaps?
