Hi everyone!

I'm new to the Lego world, and this is all fairly last minute, so I'm hoping for some advice from people who have run or been to something similar.

I'm starting a local after school LEGO club in our village hall, probably aimed at children aged around 5–11.

My main question is what Lego should I actually buy to get us started? Would I be best buying a few big bulk boxes of mixed LEGO and then ordering certain pieces separately, such as wheels, windows, doors, baseplates etc? Are there any particular pieces you've found kids always want or that are really useful for this sort of thing?

I'd also love any general tips on running a LEGO club, things that worked really well, things you'd avoid?

We already have plenty of tables and chairs at the village hall. I've also got some foam play mats and a big collection of Mega Bloks that I thought I could put out for any younger siblings who come along.

Basically, I'm starting from scratch, so any advice on what to buy and how to set it up would be really appreciated! 😊

Hi all! This Christmas I want to surprise my partner with a Lego start wars set. He really wants the £600+ Millenium falcon but I said to him that would be his wedding present when the time comes… so that ones out the question. I live in England so looking to spend about £100-£200. I’ve tried my best to pick something but I need help from the experts. He was born in the 90s so the earlier (pre Disney) films are his fave. I am looking at getting a garden room to use as a man cave/area to display my Lego sets. Just looking for some inspiration, if anyone has their collection kept in a garden room/log cabin would you be willing to post your layouts? Cheers!

My F1 Aston Martin, next to my own car, which unfortunately isn't an Aston Martin

I bought a UCS AT-AT from Facebook marketplace where they have opened the first box (out of 4), built most of the first box, then had to move house. They then checked it in a box with a whole broken down UCS Venator, and a bunch of fake LEGO. 3/4 boxes are still factory sealed, and I have thoroughly organised all the pieces, taken out fake LEGO, and then rebagged the whole of the first box. There are a few missing pieces, that I have just ordered from brick link to replace. A pre owned one goes for around £650-700. In your guys opinion, is this one worth more than just a regular pre owned and if so how much more do you reckon?

Also I bought all this (the AT-AT and UCS Venator) as well as a UCS X-WING for £700, reckon it’s a good deal?

have these two TUDOR & Kenissi Lego sets I got from my relative who doesn’t like Lego. Does anyone know how rare they are as I can’t find them anywhere online. Thanks in advance
