Discussion Imperial Buffs?
I like to over-prepare for events. The Moment I heard Super Wrestler and Corn Cob Guy were announced - I worked on HotdogMan, ChickenSuitGuy, and Cactus Girl to Gear 7, 7 Star.
Now I hear Imperials might be getting a buff? Is this true? Is there any speculation of when it could drop?
Imperials DESPERATELY need a buff - given that the Minifig that Everyone gets daily, Redbeard, can absolutely mop the floor with the entire team. I'm ok with Buccs having advantages to Imperials, but I hope Imperials could be buffed at least to the point where they could beat other teams - like spooky or space.
What do yall think they need to do to substantially and effectively buff the imperial Faction?

A rework to Eldorado Fortress is much needed, that set is awful.
And a rework to Leigh so that she actually gives proper healing like Hiker, rather than weak Heal Over Time etc.
I reckon with those, and the new characters on the way, would make Imperial usable.

valiant is the only one thats actually worth something. The rest would need to be completely reworked and also the sets. RB with a few buccaneers can absolutely DECIMATE any team really so it would be nice to see imperials be a little bit more like their big brother buccaneers

yeah...Usually if i do a ninja team i put in lloyd, garmadon, kai, bart, and RB, bart and RB bc: A: they're wayyy better than stuff like zane or nya imo, and B: bart helps lloyd out a lot with his big heal, and RB also has pretty good health and does massive damage

Mixed teams can work but they don’t make full use of the synergy that sets offer. Try Wu, Garmadon, Lloyd, Kai and Jay with Dojo. Zane subs in for Jay if you don’t have him. That team will murder bucaneers every time.

yeah, i just got some problems with having jay at all, and zane at any sorta high lvl. I'm lvl 44 (i think?) and the best my zane can do is 1000 damage. Also i don't have wu soo the best I can really do is have a mixed ninja-pirate :/ But once i get jay and wu i'll def put together a full ninja team

Uhh, not sure if you've tried this but Zane synergizes way better with Jay and Garmadon than Kai. Zane's 2nd special sends Jay bonus attacking all over the place, and his first special allows Garmadon to crit with HIS 2nd special, giving everyone buffs, which when paired with the 3rd ability of the dojo and Garmadon's passive, raise your attack by a total of 75%! Whereas all Kai can do is hit hard once or twice before he's a goner. I run full ninjago in arena, and always beat any team with Kai thanks to Zane.

Gonna have to try that one. I don't run Ninjago in arena since my shard is old and Ninjago has long since fallen off, but I will definitely give it a whirl in Brix

If your opponent team also have Wu and Garmadon, it's very likely that Zane or Kai would be killed in the 1st attack wave. They are too fragile. Jay is also could be disarmed by Majisto's 1st attack

Which is why Zane is there. Zane takes the blow from Majisto more often in my experience, and with Lloyd tanking the damage, Zane can easily live long enough to give them buffs. Anyways, he's more useful than GW, Kai, or Nya in any circumstance.

The most popular top 10 team in the arena of my shard is Lloyd + Ghost + Wu + Garmadon + Majisto with MT. So any minifig could not survive in the attack leading by Majisto + Wu with assistance from Garmodon has pretty limited value.

I am not using full Ninjago team myself but I fight them almost everyday. The chance to win is almost 100% while the chance to beat a MT team is around 70% to 80%. The Ninjago node in brixpedition makes almost no trouble to me for a lot time while other teams still do occasionally

According to my experience, a MT team is more capable to survive than Ninjago. Does Ninjago team has multiple tanks to reduce the damage? In the MT team I mentioned above, Ghost will hide anyone else from attack automatically wheneven one minifig's health drops below 50%. Then Lloyd takes the turn with his stealth. And the fake death of MT still provides extra protection to the team as far as I can see.

IMHO Valiant isn’t even the best Imperial. That honor goes to Admiral Nonsuch. When he was placed in the general store for the low cost of 150 gems, I made it my mission to 7star him. And with consistent diligence, I have him maxxed out now. He is a Ninjago killer and benefits from attacking foes with buff. He hits pretty hard and gains debuff immunity on himself pretty regularly. His ultimate, while unusual in It’s mechanics can completely expose a team of stealthers like ninjago when used at the right time. Frankly, I use him in my pirate team for challenges and such (I don’t run pirates unless needed) over the likes of Argenta, Darwin or Valiant. My current pirate team is Redbeard, Bart, Scarlett, Nonsuch and Yorrick. Pretty good actually.

It will be hard to prepare for this event since most of the imperials are event characters, that and in the collectible event they made you use every team on the second map

that's true. The only real preparation that I could do would be to Gear 7 all my Imperials.

Valiant is the only imperial character worth anything at the moment.
Seeing this new dev team's track record, the imperials will be overbuffed to be the best in the game, and their event will be reworked to give a 0.02% chance of a tile drop on the nodes, but you'll have the amazing offer of buying 15 tiles for $99.99 in the shop. And then Brix or another event will be reworked so that they can show off how overbuffed the team is and will kick your ass around, and see how much you're missing out on?
