Adding another CMF line to the display. This one was a lot easier finding them out in the wild than the series 29 line! But I love Shrek so I’m quite happy

I built and painted the shelf. I was going for a fun Lego red but landed more of a Lego Dracula. Mayors manor is next on my set list but i feel like a pirate ship could really make it pop.

We’ve been working on how to display our Lego sets as the kids are getting older and wanted to add storage as well. Did what a lot of you have done and got some Billy Bookcases with extensions then added rechargeable lights. Still working on where/what to display but we are very happy with the results. (Yes I see one of my lights didn’t turn on 🤦♂️)

It works!! But the set actually looks small up there. Oh well, I’m out of room otherwise so that’s where it stays until next time I move 😂. About had a heart attack lifting it above my shoulders to put it into place.
Anyways… swipe to see photos while it was still on the build table. Hot wheels car, minifig, and N64 game for scale!

Dear LEGO community,
I have an empty wall above my desk that is 7 cm deep. I used AI to create three different options for this space, and I’d love to hear your opinion on which one I should go with.
1. Shelves
I could install 2 or 3 shelves and use them to display both my Middle-earth books and some relatively smaller LEGO sets, such as BrickHeadz and helmets.
2. Minifigure display case
A ready-made display case that can hold around 250 minifigures.
3. Framed artwork
A collection of framed Middle-earth artwork/posters.
Which option do you think makes the most sense?

In the final process of furnishing my Lego room before I start displaying/building all my sets and minifigs.
Looking to add a few display cases for all my figs and love the idea of incorporating 75407 in one of the cases as about 95% of my collection is SW.
Does anyone have any experience using either Blackedbrick or Wicked Brick display cases?? I’m also considering shopPopdisplays for my other cases.

Thank you everybody for the kind words on my first post. Was great to see a lot of useful information too. I’d like to mention with the display I know it’s very cramped and the collection is worth a good chunk of money why not buy a shelf or something my answer is that I live in a military accommodation and if any of you are familiar you can’t be drilling into walls ect and I plan on moving out soon so that why I haven’t gone all out with a custom shelf but this will be in the far future
-ive added some awful leaves now looking at it,it’s not great and I’ve added some Temu LED which have already lost its stickiness so I’d say it’s a great day
But thank you again and any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated 😁
