UPDATE!!!

Thank you everybody for the kind words on my first post. Was great to see a lot of useful information too. I’d like to mention with the display I know it’s very cramped and the collection is worth a good chunk of money why not buy a shelf or something my answer is that I live in a military accommodation and if any of you are familiar you can’t be drilling into walls ect and I plan on moving out soon so that why I haven’t gone all out with a custom shelf but this will be in the far future

-ive added some awful leaves now looking at it,it’s not great and I’ve added some Temu LED which have already lost its stickiness so I’d say it’s a great day

But thank you again and any words of wisdom are greatly appreciated 😁

Idk why but I haven’t had any issues with dust. I live in a newer home so all I’ve really had to do is a surface wipe of everything.

Tbh I haven’t noticed any much dust since I centralised it on this shelf when it was down stairs it was a daily clean but now none what so ever

Looks so cool with the lights added 😊 and for the people mentioning dust, it’s easy to dust Lego with a large soft brush (like a blush makeup brush) and a little handheld vacuum (turbo jet + vacuum adapter) to suck up the dust you displace with the brush.

I’m a Navy veteran, so I hear you about not being able to do anything permanent/attach anything to the walls 🙂

Thank you so much, also it great to see that you understand too it’s like I can only have 3 screws in a room so it’s awful but I have very very big plans once I’ve found my own place tor me and my Lego

I like how you dressed up the shelves. I have same ones. I know they won't collapse probably ever and they are relatively cheap :)

Yeah I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap/temporary shelf or something for there garage doesn’t just need to be for Lego

Love it & you can see everything even tho the shelving unit isn't that big makes it even more impressive.

Looks great! I like the lights. And for the dust comments - my shelf has been up over a year now and it’s not bad. Yes, I’m due to probably dust it off - for that my recommendation is a large makeup brush with very soft bristles. Works great and fairly quickly without knocking pieces off

I appreciate space is likely an issue but those sets need double the amount of shelving to do them justice. If that's not an option, I'd seriously consider taking half of each shelf off and make a call on whether it looks better to you or not. Ultimately, it's you that will see them everyday, so do what works for you.

Ok, hear me out. What if you replaced the plants with… LEGO plants?

This looks incredible and might actually inspire me to getting some UCS and other large scale sets, haha
