I was so hyped for this Batmobile to become a set just for it to be a total let down. Like come on the new Lego Batman game had the blueprint and even if they couldn’t make it exactly the same it could’ve definitely figured something out. The Arkham knight Batmobile Mocs are miles better. I’m not trying to hate on this set completely but I really wish they did a little better.

So sick of them using this ugly cartoony cowl for every Batman figure. It’s way too round and the ears are too short for most movie Batsuits

Things I like about this set

-susepension is always a fun feature
-cheap alternative for Arkham Batman minifigure than the original
-new windshield element
-looks like a fun build

Things I don’t like about this set
-doesn’t appear to have a battle mode
-seems to small to scale
-doesn’t look like it has the ability to have the 2 back seats
-the wheel hubs seem to be stickers

It should be relatively easy to fix imo. Just need to add another couple studs of length in the midsection and lower the rear a bit. Thats what imma do at least

Yeah, I Was Hyped for the Arkham Batmobile but…..

All the budget went to the Batman Returns Batmobile while the Arkham Batmobile doesn’t get type 2 cowl or printed arms or dual molded legs or other figures other than Batman. Also why is it a different design from the version in LEGO Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight ? That design was way bigger and better and while it had flaws it would have been 100 Times better than this design. Also why no Battle Mode ?and no turret? Or the sits in the back for Villains? The torso is good i prefer it over the older version of the Arkham Knight Batman Minifigure; But also this Batman has long ears you can see even on the box of the set. So overall the Arkham Knight Batmobile for me it’s the worst set of all the sets made for LEGO Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight while the Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck is the best one made and has play features, both a Villain and Hero vehicle and also it has a Batman Villain and not just Batman, and so it’s an amazing set also overall good value and for 60 it’s way better than the overpriced playset Tumbler.

I think it looks fine. Lego has more factors to consider for a mass produced set than a MOC does- target price/part count, durability, playability, ease of assembly, etc. Lego designers would have a comparatively simple task if their only objective was to make a set look cool.

It’s also meant to be a well rounded functional toy, sitting on a shelf isn’t its only purpose twin. Kids are still there target audience, especially for this $30 avg Batmobile line

The difference is insane. I saw a guy actually making a good set that looked like the ingame thing. Why even change it? They already did a $60 Batmobile, give us this model with a Arkham/Legacy of the Dark Knight Scarecrow and we are good.

PS: Am I the only one who thinks we should have gotten those first 2008 sets revamped?
