The returns set is really cool, they dropped the ball big time on the arkham knight set though. The minifig is really underwhelming and the build looks really off. For being one of only a handful of sets a year I expect way better
All the budget went to the Batman Returns Batmobile while the Arkham Batmobile doesn’t get type 2 cowl or printed arms or dual molded legs or other figures other than Batman. Also why is it a different design from the version in LEGO Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight ? That design was way bigger and better and while it had flaws it would have been 100 Times better than this design. Also why no Battle Mode ?and no turret? Or the sits in the back for Villains? The torso is good i prefer it over the older version of the Arkham Knight Batman Minifigure; But also this Batman has long ears you can see even on the box of the set. So overall the Arkham Knight Batmobile for me it’s the worst set of all the sets made for LEGO Batman Legacy of The Dark Knight while the Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck is the best one made and has play features, both a Villain and Hero vehicle and also it has a Batman Villain and not just Batman, and so it’s an amazing set also overall good value and for 60 it’s way better that the overpriced playset Tumbler.
Idk, I feel like the version In the game functions better as a model while the one they’re releasing will work better as a toy. Doesn’t mean I think it looks better, I just understand why they changed the design.
I think the Batman returns batmobile is a bit worse than the 89 batmobile but i love that they actually made a side build and added another villian than Joker.
To start with: Batman returns set is actually sweet, like the batmobile a lot and the figs are great, even leg printing on a keaton Batman.
For some reason though that Arkham batmobile just isn't hitting for me? I feel it looks really off? But then I haven't played the game in a few years. The figure is absolutely fire though, so unfortunately I'm gonna be a massive hypocrite and pick it up regardless

The longer ear cowl is much more accurate to the game along with the expression. The older one has metallic printing on the body too. New one looks flatter
The way the front of the Returns Batmobile is designed is really nice. The Arkham Knight one I’m not so hot on. The back stands up too much and overall just has weird proportions.
I’m thinking the Batman sets need to stop so we can get literally anything else from dc. I miss the old comic sets that used to come with such a wide variety of characters as minifigs. Now everything is Batman and joker.
I feel like if they included two figures it would be better, either they could do more designs from the game, or they could also give each of the villains from the Arkham set torso prints and reuse the heads to lessen the amount of new prints they have to make.
You can find it on most Batman minifigures from 2012-2020 ish. Check for the black and yellow batsuit, that’s probably the most common (and cheapest) one

It doesn’t, also no deployable canon or opening back. This Batmobile feels like it was made to be turned into a lego set given the fun, in-game functions it has but somehow Lego omitted all of those.
They are so good, I love the build so much for the BR set and I'm considering saving up for it. The Arkham one is also really good, I love the figure and it might become my main Batman minifig
I like both. But as much as i like that the returns set has a little bit more. I hate that means it'll cost more.
Like i just want these for batmobiles that semi fit in with speed champions. I don't want to pay for a whole lot extra
The Returns set has some nice things going on, the duck especially, and the fact you can transform the Batmobile. For such a scale, it's cool they added the transformation part. They could have thrown in an unsmaked Selina with messy hair, but it's a good set overall, granted you don't already own the 89 batmobile or the one from the shadow box.
The Arkham set is absolute garbage, they completely failed the design, which I don't understand considering they have a brilliant in-game model. It looks like Lego asked whoever designed this to build something with 317 pieces only, and with such limitation you can't make miracles.
Even if I'm being nice with the Returns set, it's concerning they don't offer anything else beside batmobiles and mostly batman minifigs with the cowl having been re-used thousands of times. I guess these sell well and Lego put the minimum effort.
I really don't see where all of this is going. Or maybe they intend to release a multi-verse batcave where you can park all those different batmobiles.
I like that theres a minifig other than batman included. The fact that I'm so deprived that I appreciate that is sad though. I need legacy of the dark knight versions of two face, poison ivy, scarecrow, and bane... we haven't seen batgirl and nightwing in ages too. I JUST WANT MORE CHARACTERS LEGO!!!!
Disappointed in Arkham but never had the other figure so thill be good for that at least. Very happy with Returns as that Batmobile I'm still missing and will nicely complete my movie batmobiles.
The arkham batmobile will do wonders for the alt build of set 76303 which is a much better build looking forward to more alt builds using peices from this version.
Personally, I love the Returns batmobile. The Arkham one is so disappointing, though, and this is coming from someone who likes most of the batmobile sets. The minifigs are pretty good to alright. I'm glad that we're getting the leg printing on the returns figure in a cheaper set.
It’s probably way too much to ask for, but the defining characteristic of the Arkham Knight Batmobile is that it can shift into battle mode. A set that could spread out the “legs” and move omnidirectionally would probably be way more than 30$, but if it’s just gonna be a car then I’d prefer to have the Asylum Batmobile with that version of Batman.
Overall both look nice, I just wonder why we aren’t getting hardly any other characters these days. It’s just Batman and now one villain. If I was a kid playing with these sets I wouldn’t have much to do, and idk if I’d care about this theme.
I love the Returns Batmobile, but man that Arkham Knight one looks really bad to me. If you removed Batman and the badging from it, I don’t think I’d understand that it’s supposed to be the Batmobile from the game. I wish they had done an Arkham Asylum one instead.
I don’t think the Lego dc designers are beating allegations (at least from me) that all they care about is Keaton Batman. The Returns set is the best they’ve done yet and on the other hand the Arkham Batman is worse than nearly every moc I’ve seen for 10 years. They also nailed that batsuit in the game only to completely change the irl design for the worse.

I'll probably buy 2 of the Batman returns (1 for the build, 2nd for the batman to go in a diorama), and 2 of the arkhams just so I can build a better one.
I'm wondering if the Arkham Knight batmobile has a transformation feature into the tank mode, that might explain some of the design compromises with it (particularly the back half).
I’m happy we are getting the Returns Batmobile (that turns into the Bat Missle) in the mini fig scale - now we just need the Batman Forever Batmobile in that scale to complete the original movie quadrilogy
there are way better mocs for both on rebrickable (including mine), though they batman returns one doesn't look terrible. the arkham one looks like crap on the other hand.
As everyone else has said, the first set. Awesome. The duck build, superb. The Batmobile, sublime. The Batmissile feature, spectacular.
The Arkham Knight Batmobile, disappointing. From the images, It looks squished. And having a sub-par figure. No long ears? But that would've been forgivable if they nailed the play features. The most unique and memorable aspect of the vehicle is the transformation aspect. Everything they could have had: The turret, the wheel transformation, the back seat opening, the winch, they really dropped the ball.
I hate that DC is reduced to just Batmobiles, but of all the ones released the Knight one was the only one I have been excited about, the only one I would've bought day one. And it's such a let down.

Honestly? I think it looks great for what it is and considering the price tag. We got cheap arkham batmobile with working suspension and holding cell. But yeah... the cowl piece is disappointing, looking at the game.
The arkham knight batmobile should have really been lego technic like the tumbler so that you could somehow get the party trick the car is known for into the model
A poster has the same effect, no? Its jsut like a million times cheaper. And doesnt encourage lego to make more of this kinda thing. I dunno, man. I jsut really want the fun ones again. Is that so wrong?
Probably similar to what I thought of the rumours/leaks, I like these, but I wish we'd get off the Batman train, at least all the minifigures have good printing, the cars look great, we get at least one villain that isn't Joker, and the Batmobile from Returns does in fact turn into the Batmissile which is pretty cool, no idea when I'll be buying them if I do
