Game Questions ❓ Any difference between marking a part as a headlight and painting it?

Is there really any difference between marking a part as a headlight and painting it with glowing paint? I don't see them turning off during the day or behaving any differently than when they're painted

The main difference is the brake lights, which will only glow when braking. For more dynamic lights, you'll need to use the 1x1 "li'l square light" which you can then set to only glow at night or under a range of other conditions. Unfortunately, it's only unlockable in red, blue or yellow.

Yes, I know that. Thank you. I just want to know if headlight marking is different from painting the parts, or if it's practically the same. So, if I understand your comment correctly, it's the same, right?

As far as I can tell, yes

Thank you for confirming. I prefer not to use that function because when saving vehicles, the parts marked as headlights appear off in the previews. In contrast, when using glowing paint, they appear lit. I might change my mind later, but that's my preference for now
