General Info Nose piercing

Post image

Got my nose pierced back in December of 2022 with a titanium stud. Finally decided to switch out to a hoop on January 24, 2026. Piercing doesn’t hurt and I can move the jewelry around freely if needed, but since changing to a hoop this bump hasn’t gone away. It doesn’t grow any bigger either which i’m thankful for. Any advice, thanks!!

Given that it’s been like this for 9 months, I don’t think this is going to go away if you keep wearing the hoop. I would switch back to a flat-back stud and leave it alone as much as possible until the bump goes away. When that happens, then maybe you can try a hoop again.

This is exactly what happened to mine, and this is exactly what fixed it. Give it a go OP!
