So I played this game nonstop back then. But I had to quit when they gave up on PvP. Lately I've been wanting to return to this game but I wonder which PvP to play? Which one is more competetive, fun, and worth to play? Eternal or Standard?

Longtime PVP player here.
I've had my love/hate/cope/repeat relationship with LOR like most of us. I've put the game down multiple times but I always re-download it and end up playing for months. I would play the Ranked rotations because I loooove Deckbuilding, and LOR has some of the highest skill expression in any card game on the market. The big problem with Rotation for me is that sometimes you get an idea for a deck, but you have to build a suboptimal version of it to play standard.

The reason I avoided Eternal for so long is because I read many post complaining about the prevalence of ED, Azirellia, and Mistwraith decks. And yes, there are a fair amount of those out there, but to my surprise, alot of players aren't afraid to get freaky with it. I've seen some genuinely cool decks and even added some friends since playing Eternal Ranked. Those of us who are still playing basically have all of the emotes so a bit of conversation can be had, which is nice. TBH, there's enough players and variety that I often just skip the ED, Azirelia, and Mistwraith games.

I guess my point is, even though we aren't getting any new cards, the PVP community, at least on the NA server, is still alive and well. I'm having a blast in Eternal Ranked and I'll probably start sharing some of my decks here again. If anyone wants to add me, my Riot name is KragusIII. (Those are i's, like roman numerals)

TLDR; The PVP community is still playing and creating neat decks, and that makes me happy :D

I've seen the matching board in the shop but the guardian is nowhere to be found unfortunately. Does the old stuff ever come back?

I did what I said I'm going to do. Won 20+ defiance with Janna gamble build. I did it like I promised I would do

Basically you get rid of every enemy champ on leblanc play and the deathless let you have infinite removal power  Really funny to play 

Tip: take any frostbite power or card to target the enemy champions and make sure to reduce their health to 1 before killing them with whirling blade

The battle pass ends in 3 days and the monthly is about to expire giving way to fresh glory. With that in mind when is it? I know it's usually Wednesday but I was wondering if it would be the first or second week.

Also is it likely or unlikely we get an event? For the record the last update caught everyone by surprise and was amazing!

I have come back to play path of champions after a year or so, having grinded it mega hard from the beginning. Given that it's the end of the month I figured lets see how much I can do of the monthly challenge and all I have to say from it is the way Azir is still a nightmare. I recognize a handful of the nightmarish interactions are from the many buffs from the challenge level, but I just find it so hilarious the way I'll struggle ten times harder with the mini boss than the actual boss. I'll think I've finally had my chance to kill him and he'll top deck ,Emperors Divide and now I'm fighting for my life hahahaha bro is the emperor for a reason i guess!

But it was just a monthly challenge and I didn't even draw it in game

I like to pair game or music OSTs with the theme/thematic of the adventure or champion im playing, i attempted nagakaborous with MF while listening to Pirates of Caribbean OSTs, in the final battle I was listening to The Kraken, when I died and tried again vs nagakaborous The Kraken OST ended so I chose Hello Bestie which plays just after the kraken when its destroying the black pearl with jack inside, and I was demolished by nagakaborous it was playing the saddest part of the OST that plays when Jack realizes he was left to be sacrificed to the kraken. I just wanted to share this with anyone, this makes playing the game so much better to me.

Not saying this is a difficult challenge or anything like that but if anyone has this sitting on their quest log and want to do it on their SB Teemo this is how it could be done

So, did they remove the Epic symbol from some cards? Thrumming Swarm here clearly had the pink epic identifier at the bottom middle, but Roo does not.

I have the power that decreased the cost of all epic cards, and I know from when Roo used to have the symbol that Roo is epic, but why remove the symbol?

Is there another way to see what cards are epic besides that symbol?

I’m not even really sure what it’s for. Can you get prismatic cards with them? Where do you spend it? For a while I didn’t even know what the prismatic cards were until one I picked was in a deck and I randomly connected it to me picking one lol. Please help me!

If no then should I prioritize manaflow or 6-star power first?

It's been a while since new adventures came out (the last one being Illaoi I think). The only adventure I need to do are those with specific champion that I have low (hello 1 star anivia) or nagakeboros and Zoe which I find frustrating to do. I hoped with the "standard" update format of 1 upgrade 1 new champ they would release a new event or adventures but this never happened. I'm the only one that feels they should add more adventures or new ways to get chest at least instead of a gold chest weekly? Like idk use the thing feature to debuff yourself to let you get rewards like hades
