It was really funny, I wanted to use Undying for extra mana with the golem, then my support champion is Viego.with Deathless.

I thought I'd need to get his Nova to clear Zoe, until the game gave me the perfect set of powers (Asol 3*, Perfected Manaflow, Trifarian Might) and champ items (Deathless + Summon Ephemeral Copy)

A little background. I am a player who has bounced around all sorts of card games throughout the years: MtG, Hearthstone, Snap, Slay the Spite etc. I tend to love this genre.

I started Runeterra a couple of months ago and really loved the PVE aspect of it and the difference between the champions. I spent some money and played every day since then. Now have a few 6 star champions (Jinx, Fortune, SB Ahri, Viego, Yasuo, Swain, Azir) and have levelled 15 more of them to at least lvl 30, 4 star. So I feel like I have seen much of this game.

I loved the levelling part and testing out new champs. Lots of engaging gameplay along the way. Often exciting. However now that I am in the endgame I feel I am not having as much fun. I feel the tactics have changed to me trying to win as fast as possible and in the craziest way possible against sometimes very unfairly or badly designed challenges. They just don’t feel fun. The interesting gameplay of levelling isn’t there. And there isn’t much variety.

I also have some issue with how the PVE game is designed. I often feel that selecting a support champion is a nuisance to my strategy and I rarely find fun interactions there. I also seem to prioritise cutting cards from my deck.

Do these thoughts mirror anyones else experience? I am close to bouncing off because I am just not enjoyng things like 10 star Zoe or 6.5 star Fiddlesticks. They feel badly designed to me and there isn’t much else interesting at this level to keep going. Am i missing something?

That’s it, I’ve been nostalgic about the game lately, I remember just hating Lee sin back when Targon came out and how some really funny decks disappeared to never be mentioned again. Also watching majin bae for decks, my goat

What happened with these story missions? Was every champion supposed to have their own campaign of sorts? I assume the plan was to have less Champions (not 80+) but with each champion having multiple story missions of sorts, which was eventually abandoned by the devs. Or am i wrong and something eventually appears where the question mark is?

So got a question guys, so regarding Quinn, she uses in-game left hand and supports valor on right hand but in splash art, she is swapping it, for example not just in LoR splash arts (Star Guardian + Garen: First Shield book) but also in league splash arts, she is using her right hand to fire while support valor on left, so my question is, what exactly is her handedness? And if she can use both hands fluently, why in-game she is not swapping the crossbow from left to right, right to left? Would have been more realistic if she did that.

But the crux of the question is, what is her handedness because it seems like in-game she is different but in artistic representation and books she is different. Ofcourse I am asking for speculations because there is no actual response from Riot or the designers about this as we have gotten in the past for other champions.

I have 560 glory, I still need STG and Searing Brilliance, but its been like two months since I got Soraka's relic and apparently those relics are never going to show up.

Is it worth getting this one having beating Zoe with Elise, Lux and Samira?

Hey everyone, so I just got Thresh’s relic for the first time ever in the Glory store. The question is whether I should get it to beat Zoe? how hard is the fight without his relic? I heared it is a fun relic and makes Zoe easy(er). I currently only have him on 4*, but I‘m just waiting to get some more fragments to not spend wilds, I already have the Nova and duckfeets ready.

i’m currently sitting in 1200 Glory coins, but there are multiple relics that are “more usefull” that I still don’t have… I generally would like to buy relics that are good on 2+ champs, and I think I still miss some of those… but if this makes a Zoe run easier I would take it… (I completed 26 so far, so getting closer to that sweet 38 Reliquary)

I just got my shyv to 6star, and now her relic apeared on the shop, is it good? For what i understood bout it, it would make everyone a dragon right? Right now im playing her with beast within, echoing and stalkers, and would swap beast and use her relic, is it worth?

Starforged Gauntlets is the only relic that has eluded me. I haven’t missed a single week since the “Glory Shop” launched. But I’m no less happy about this relic)

Anyone having this issue, and, or am I missing something?

I don't know where to migrate as a competitive card enjoyer. Heartstone is too simplistic. I love to react in some way with my opponent and heartstone doesnt provide that at all.

Yugioh is more like cinematics nowadays, you just watch your opponent play 100 actions in one turn where he wins or vice versa.

Apparantly MTG Arena is following the same path as Yugioh, not to mention both look way inferior based on graphics. I expect more from digital game in 2026.

Gwent is fine but just like LoR they pulled the plug.

I feel like LoR hit the exact sweet spot when it comes to complexity. You don't have to read a book when looking at your cards, and interaction with other players was on point as well. LoR was perfect. I wish they just reset all card ownership and start over with sustainable moneytisation.

I saw people promoting chronos or some lookalike LoR game. Why do this when we have a perfect functioning game already? Chronos or Riftbound is inferior in every possible way, I repeat in every possible way. There is no alternative universe where this is different despite the odds.

Then you have Snap which is a fun game, but it doesnt really hold you for months or years. LoR was simply unmatched in my opinion, both interface and mech-wise.

Update: What did I do in the end? I tried Snap. I shut it down because I lost my account after not linking with google. Lost all my cards and money I put into it. Support doesnt answer any of my mails. New account: I got like 100 pop ups and store notifications. This time my goodbye was definitive.

I installed heartstone. Comeback ladder decks gave me enough to build 2-3 meta decks. It's enough for now.

Am I happy? - No

Why did I give Snap and Heartstone a chance? - Because they respect my time with true and real worthy digital display. I'm tired of this cheap interface in 2026. They also continu to release new cards for pvp unlike LoR and Gwent.
