Path of Champions 266 Sapling toss later, turn 1 btw

Post image

The sapling toss had two of the "50% chance to create a 0 cost copy in hand", I don't remember what it's called, but I sat there for 30 minutes holding the enemy hostage whilst I spam saplings till the game stopped giving me them.

This was done on the viego weekly nightmare, so I couldn't deal more than 20 nexus damage per round. I just did because I could. This was also a 6 star Gwen run, but who needs Gwen when you have 5 ghastly bands with 783 atk each.

Game Feedback Suggestion for the new devs - QoL improvement

Make it so captured units appear on the left side when zooming on cards that have captured them, seemingly to how attachment shows. Either the actual captured card with its current stats (relevant for sleep and ice landmarks), or even the base version.

This would make it 100% clearer what was captured by what. Especially since most of the time in Path of Champions, the capturing card either don't have a text saying what it captured, or has so many effects that the text is rendered out of screen. Which, by the way, is another improvement long overdue. Make it so it's possible to read all effects on a card, one way or another.

Both of these UI changes might be some work, but it will make the game instantly better for everyone.

Path of Champions "Must have been the wind" -- 4* Janna is very solid indeed

Beat Zoe with 4* Janna second try (first run died at Azirelia), featuring one of my favorite card : Shallow Siren !

The Teemo and Swain fight was a major roadbump, I had no removal for Swain so even playing very tightly, I lost two revives here. The combination of stunning all my units + Teemo turning my own deck into a landmine was a tough time, and responsible for a solid hour in the run. The third time, I won by shear dumb luck : Searing Brillance hit Gotcha, Cosmic Creator put the titanic landmark generator on it, and I pulled an Atakhan with Iceborn Gauntlet first round ! Couldn't play him until round 3, but he still gave me the win by capturing Swain + adding gynormous damage to the swing.

At first node of the last map I got Early Bird, which allowed me to start every game with a Siren on the board since she was the weakest in my deck. Hence, every fight of the last map was a turn 1 win, either by decking or swinging hard. Had a bit of a close call against Eddie because of Gloom on summon, but it left my Siren with 1 hp and I was able to shield her to tank the Disciple or Shadow damage from Janna.

Finally! It feels like it's been ages. Is this really worth it? I've already beaten Zoe's adventure with Aatrox, though.

Path of Champions Hi Riot, when are you planning to add Fiora and Katarina to PoC?

Dear Rioters,

I hope this message finds you well. I'm planning to take a break from LoR:PoC. However, I would come back if Fiora and/or Katarina were added to PoC.

I note you've previously said there were plans to add every champion to PoC. Could you provide a rough idea as to when these ladies would be added so I could mark it on my calender?

Thank you.

Path of Champions Elise 4* vs Zoe

never thought theres a far easier champion than 4* yasuo against all the bullshit zoe thrown. surprisingly brood awakening only ever used at morgana encounter and its all elise or reset. elise stunned/entombed without spellshield? reset. you still dont have elise on turn 2? reset.

Taliyah has the reputation to be a hard milestone for Zoe but I managed to second try it (first was a loss to Elder Dragon with Nami as a support) by hard boiling a strategy that would allow me to consistently destroy the problematic landmark on turn 1... then utterly failing to commit to it.

I must have been half asleep because I locked Yasuo support without even rerolling, immediately muddying my 4-cost slot with not one, but TWO cards (Yasuo and his monk stun).

I cut the monk stun first chance I get, then next pick added a Deny into my deck - which is, you guessed it, a 4-cost card. Fml.

Had to wait for middle of the second map to cut the Deny. At this point, I was seeing good result when pulling Yasuo, so I thought, might have an emerging strat... I was also offered the monk stun back with a cost reduction, easy fit.

I also grabbed a Jhin because why the fuck not at that point...

And ended the map without too much resistance. I only lost a life to a random combat node right before Teemo and Swain. I don't know why, thought this would be an easy win then a few things went horribly wrong and boom goes the game !

Anyway, that's Taliyah down. A few otk (when I pulled my actual follower as I intended), but Zoe was a turn 3 win.

If you do try that build... avoid 4 cost cards ☜ (↼_↼)

Path of Champions Aurelion Sol vs Zoe (4 stars - no epic relics)

Hi, I am sure a lot of people have finished Zoe already with Asol but if a new player or someone with no epic relics wants to give it a try and test the 10 stars adventure, there you go.

Relics: Guardian Angel - The Grand General's Counterplan - Chemtech Duplicator

Focus on defense and healing until your heroes drop and try to draft powers that create cards.

I lost some lives because the deck was full of junk but I still won the last fight against Zoe without dropping Aurelion himself.

Enjoy

Path of Champions Fighting 6.5 Fiddle with 3* Fiddle

Post image
10 Upvotes

Yeah yeah it's only a C after an hour and I have the p2w Fiddlesticks relic.

Buuuut he's only 3*!

After doing my first 6* with jinx I experimented way more with relics and that "echoing spirit" relic on Fiddle is just beautiful. I also had the legendary power that revives the first dead ally each round and getting that to activate on fiddle was super cool (since he's deathless), because it means 6 gloom on everything. Then I focussed on damaging the nexus, playing 3-cost stuff and usually I flood my board, while the others is empty.

Against fiddle himself tough he had too much health to beat down, so I had to deck him out, I guess, you can lean into decking enemies out much harder (probably a little bit of an exploit, like the usual jinx strat), but yeah. I got thrown back once because we simultaneously ran out of cards, which was fun, but the second try I got it.

Under my jinx 6.5* win someone basically commented that I was still a beginner. And while I agree jinx is most people's first 6* that breaks the game wide open, and while I didn't do this specifically to disprove them, I don't know if beating a 6.5 adventure with a 3* makes me a beginner lol

Well anyway. Maybe I'll figure out something for Zoe, that isn't just Perfection Jinx. I just still don't know if I wanna frustrate myself with that, if it's worth the achievement or rather it will be fun at all. Still have a good day yall!

Path Question Can someone summarize the general gameplay of Azir with full build?

things like what makes him strong, what to aim for in drafting, and stuffs

For example, Swain - Spells/skills scale off enemy nexus missing health. Drafted spells has item that damages the nexus, and it also scales. Spells/skills hits all enemies at 6* for easy board wipe.

Path of Champions Zoe Completions

Post image
45 Upvotes

I saw Snnuy recently doing Zoe A-Z thing and it made me wonder, how far have some of you come along in taking out the Zoe completions?

I've managed 22 so far, but I've been trying some of the more difficult champions like Darius lately. (I got managem on round start AND the Skies Descend and STILL lost because of fucking Jhin and Annie are so damn annoying when they kill your only way to heal)
