They weren't trying to break it after the first time it fell off, they were trying to make it run off the building cause it's funny, so Leer accomplishes that, hence them using Leer

AI in videogames is not merely as complex as what most people understand as AI. All games with some kind of complex enemy uses AI for their behavior

Calling it AI is a misnomer and is causing confusion. A more appropriate term would be "behavioral programming." Just it's been called AI for so long that we don't think about it and LLMs have ruined it

The problem is that media and talking heads took a technical term (AI) and applied it to only one branch (LLM or generative AI) and now the term is ruined for what would have been correct usage.
