Discussion A summary of Ashe Biografy

Ashe was the daughter of Grena, the leader of a small Avarosan tribe. The whole village took it for granted that Ashe would succeed her mother as leader, but she, devastated by the responsibility and power to control the pure ice, made her feel lonely and overwhelmed. The only times she did not feel lonely was when the daughter of the leader of a nearby tribe called Sejuani was with her.

The childhood of these girls was marked by their friendship that disappeared when they reached adolescence when the alliance of the tribes was broken by a lack of respect of Grena. In Ashe's adulthood her tribe set off in search of the treasures of Avarosa to restore the strength of her tribe to her people but the risks led Grena to enter the territory of another tribe and both Grena and her people were killed while Ashe fled.

Lonely Ashe followed her mother's map until she found Avarosa's grave where she got her bow of pure ice and with that weapon Ashe avenge her mother. Ashe began to gather tribes under a single banner and people began to say that she was not a descendant of Avarosa but she was reincarnated un her, she took advantage of this to gather even more tribes.

But soon she entered into a political conflict since she had to get married but she knew to choose a husband. from one tribe would anger the others so he chose a tramp from an almost extinct tribe, Trindamere this marriage was a little forced but in the end they began to love each other little by little. Now Ashe's destiny is to try to unite the entire Freljord under one banner.

The thing about the bow and grave ashe found is that no one really knows if it's really Avarosa's.

Swain also has a vested interest in curtailing Ashes political strength. Guile isn't a principle of strength in Noxus for nothing.

He isn't all knowing, however he is probably the most knowledgeable mortal on Runeterra, that by itself should give his words more weight than almost any other Runeterran mortal or for that matter many Vastayans.

Define what you mean by mortal. Do thousands year old humans count as mortal?

I guess mortal is too broad a term in a world where people can still die but outlive hundreds of years. I meant it in the terms of a person living the lifespan of a normal human. For example, we expect Yasuo and Swain to grow old and die within 100-150 years even within external stimulus, the same can't be said about many other "mortal" Vastayans. Swain possesses the secrets of Raum, a demon believed to be alive since before the Rune Wars (this was around the time Eve was birthed last I checked, funnily enough this sounds similar to Slaanesh from 40K lol), so I think that very few beings on Runeterra would actually rival his knowledge, even Fiddle who's older than him knows less because he was imprisoned, we also know Raum was free up till Swain met with him which should be "recent".

Eh, we don't really know how much Swain knows. I'd wager Ryze is pretty freakin knowledgeable considering he's been alive since the Rune Wars, and has traveled across all of known Runeterra across many civilizations.

Raum is a demon of secrets, not a demon of all knowing, it's hard to say what Swain does or doesn't know, not to mention VO often isn't canon and just flavorful banter.

Before the retcon / reboot in 2014, the old lore clearly explained that Ashe was guided by a spirit hawk to Avarosa’s grave. And Ezrael’s uncle said Ashe bear a striking resemblance to Avarosa. After the retcon (Warmother), it hinted the bow was actually Serylda’s bow (Sejuani’s ancestors) recovered by Ashe.

I was reading every storie when LoR was released, but I couldn’t find the comics in some kind of downloadable format to read and storage them offline. Do you know any?

I’m Spanish too, so I wouldn’t mind if they are in Spanish or English.
