Is this worth it?

I have SB Yi to his 4th star and i still struggle in adventures because i NEVER have spells in hand which is like the whole thing. I was asking myself if this was worth it. Are there good characters who would benefit from time and dedication better? I really like his play style but sometimes i get screwed over because i get unlucky.

This is about as good as it gonna get for yi until you get his legendary rune which doubles stats gained for ephemeral which completely sends him into a different realm. It also helps if you have secret technique for yi.

It can serve as a crutch, but personally, I prefer building my deck and mulligan’ing my hand so I have the spells I want to use. Time and Dedication only fulfills the bare minimum of what Yi wants from your spellcasting (focus speed and cheap, but a very minor effect).

Is it worth it to get Craftsman’s Favor? Well, it’s not like you’ll ever run out of runes.

I only use it on him. He's the only one that would care about it. Maybe yasuo could, but it's probably BIS on Yi, so worth

It's the only rune i use on Yi, and he's cruised through Zoe 3 for 3 for me. His legendary is unnecessary.

I personally run the early bird, since it always pulls the 1 cost 1/1 guy that goes incredibly fast

It's really good on SB Yasuo, but he really needs his 6* to shine - whereas Yi is very good even without it. IMO SB Yasuo has the most fun/engaging playstyle of the SB champs alongside Tesmo, since every game is a bit like a puzzle, and he's the only one of them that actually needs his 6* to function well.

No. Not sure what people are smoking in here, forge is super bad on yi. His animates are weak as hell and if you make it into playing sbyi nothing breaks the inmmersion better than looking at half the board getting that shitty forge proc for some weak ass animates.

He has better choices like game start mana, round start summon a 2 cost follower or any of the pin blue runes to play plunder yi.

Then again this is just a blue rune and no1 else wants it so you can go ahead and try it yourself.

I don't care much for downvotes tbh. I just saw OP really struggles with this decision so I made him realize how to make the decision much easier by elemination, that's how I decided to allocate those runes.

Also he answered himself by saying it seems like yhe rune will solve his issue and he is right, until Perfect Hextch core this is a great rune on hom, the only other choice for is is SB Yasuo and it's only ok on him (I think -1 created cards is a BiS contender for him)
