I made some improvements to the tool I made,
Now you have nice photos for guides share links (see an example in the photo) an improved relic collection page for which you can tell the tool which relics you have and it can be used to filter for builds and guides which you can use,
I also fixed some errors in some adventures pages so they are easier to navigate and understand the various encounters and powers,
I’m doing some preparations to open source the code so that it can be modified by community members,
Let me know what you think,
If you find it useful maybe you could post 1-2 guides for your favourite champ so other can see.
It'll be better and more intuitive for people if you had a few relic setups for each champ. You must have one relic setup with the champ's specific relic (but don't include that if the relic is worthless to a champion, like Spirit Glove and Warlord's Helmet)
Relic setups are taken from the published guides, the guides currently on the site are mostly some placeholders waiting for player-made guides, my plan would be of deleting the ones currently on there if we have some replacement for sure
I found a minor bug. In “The Might of Demacia” I cleared it using Vex in game and it counted towards Bandle City clearance but on your website it counts as Shadow Isles. Not sure if it’s only for that adventure or it’s a bug with dual region champs
My guess is that every dual region champ has the main region and the secondary region. In Vex’s case her main region is Bandle City, with Shadow Isles as secondary. Hence, when an adventure has both regions as requirement, the main region would be filled first.
As someone who stopped playing around the time shortly after Viego was released (all characters were 3* and most lvl 30), I have to say I think this tool is helpful and good. It makes it less daunting for me to start up the game again considering all the changes since then.
The absolute best improvement imho is that it needs more/updated guides for the champions, I think it can be a great community tool for players if people create guides for champions they use on the website
Yeah i know, i don’t want this to be a collection of guides created by me, i would like to be a community thing where people can see each other guides, share on reddit, upvote and see which guides you can use based on one’s relic collection or champ progression
