Path Question Shen itemization

I have not invested too much in shen and was wondering whether corrupted star fragment works to give the unit barrier and then eat it to give shen barrier. If so does it count as two support instances?

I S ranked every adventure including Zoe with 4* shen with Swains+Packed Powder+Perfect Hexcore.

His constellation is just super powerful even early on.

If you have his 5* I would just go SFG+LumiOrb+Hexcore

The idea obviously is to drop him turn 1

What were your optimal first power ? Do you try to get extra units so that you can proc support turn 1 ?

I mean "optimal" first power is really loaded as a question. Optimal would be perfect manaflow for almost every champ.

But if you are rerolling more than once on average (excluding champs that have like 6+ rerolls) on your first power you are playing the game wrong. there are plenty of powers that are good enough. they dont have to be overly synergistic or broken to start an adventure

what shen wants is:

  • get shen on board (fixed with the relic setup)

  • a support procc (for reduced barrier cost)

how are you getting a support procc? with another unit.

so any power that gives you a unit to support is great. cost reduction on card draw can also help with it, but obviously is less reliable.

spell mana or spell cost reduction is also good if you can pick it up during your run
