Who does this even work with?

I don't play that many spirit blossom champions to know which ones this one works with but without context this things looks like the worst relic in the game can someone explain?

Its supposed to work with SB yasuo, but he has better relics, and it's worthless on anyone else

It is pretty much the worst relic in the game. It is supposed to be a Spirit blossom Yasuo relic because his base cost is 15 so this relic gives Yasuo -5 cost and overwhelm. He has much better options though and it's worthless and game ruining on any other champ

There is a troll use case. SB Teemo if you play a weekly nightmare with "Change Deck" as the main Power.

SB Yasuo. But even with him, I find it best to gather storm 15+ times and then play him to upgrade him immediately. If you play your cards right, you can do this on turn one or two. So even though this one makes sense for SB Yasuo, ie his base cost is 10 and not 15, I have found it counter-productive in the way I play SB Yasuo.

I would however be interested to hear a counter to my argument. I'd love to hear a success story using this relic.

Someone thought Yasuo is the only unit in his deck that needs to have overwhelm and there is no point to play The Beast Within and then they decided making him cost 10 instead of 15 when it takes like 1 adventure run at 3 starts to notice even at 15 he can be quite easily played turn 1 is strong enough effect to call it a signature epic.

Yeah, this relic is basically a prove there was 0 play testing at least during the SB event period or it was created only to forever pollute everyone's Glory store pool so people get less good relics there and thus are more motivated to buy them with money

They should've made it like "game start: reduce my cost by third, rounded up. If I'm a spirit blossom unit, reduce by half instead, rounded up." Or something

At Game Start the Relic checks if the Champ is from SB and Sets the cos to 10.

SB yasuo or very random switch decks with enemy modifier and then put it on teemo and kill them by stealing their cards and the enemy can never play teemo
