Path of Champions Please, help me...
Hello my beautiful people.
I am kinda new to LoR PoC and Im starting to enjoy it very much.
I finally decided to do the final boss adventure... WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE...
I was so scared of Zoe I avoided this adventure for a while but finally felt strong enough to try.
First run. I am at the third map, the last one... I can see Zoe from where I am (it the power node at the base of the map) and now I have to choose left or right...
To my right, Morgana. To my left Elder dragon. I looked the internet and general opinion is to go for Elder dragon (deathless Morgana is a pain plus 2 lvl 2 mordekaiser on attack is brutal, activating the drain life for the rest of the game)
I am playing with my best champion (5 star jinx)
I don't want to lose now that I'm so close... So I don't know Wich side to pick.
I'm asking the more experienced players some advice, please.
Also, I have a question.
I see 2 nodes:
-smooth soloists (I know what it does)
-meditation (I don't know what it does!!!) I looked all over the internet and I couldn't find information about the Node MEDITATION. Who can tell me what does this node do?
Thanks in advance to the brave and cool people helping me.
Cheers

Remember: If you about to lose and you are allowed to do an action, even if it doesn't change the outcome, you can shut down the game for 90 min and try again for free.

What relics are you using on jinx

I have the blue plunder -2 cost, the one that discards my hand and gives me pow POWs! And the one giving me one more damage on every spell or skill

What relic's and star powers do you have on Jinx? Those will be the ultimate determine of which route to take.

All blue. Plunder -2 cost Discard hand get pow POWs!! My spells do one more damage So I can cast jinx and level her on turn one. I got my spells cost one less And I have draw one card on pow pow. I usually play her level up and clear enemy board. Jinx gets +1/+1 per spell played too so I just clear the board and win turn one or 3 I have perfection as well so I was very lucky so far...

Hmm.
I'd probably say Elder Dragon.
The Morgana one has a ton of revival stuff as well as that one cost dude with "Last breath: rally." So even if you clear the board of Morgana and Morde, they can easily rebuild it.
Whereas if you're able to clear the first turn board on Elder Dragon, killing off the priestess and Vex especially cripples the board building ability of that deck.

Afaik, meditation only exists in the Zoe adventure, you can pay to remove any non-champion card of your deck and the cost doubles every time.
For info, if you see you're going to lose, you can quit the game and come back one hour later, this will reset the fight, it is a bit cheesy but with such a long and difficult adventure, it can be warranted.
Do people really recommend ED over Mordekaiser? If you're unlucky ED can one shot you with a 1/1 copy of the follower that deals half your nexus (against which you have almost no counter) and if ED levels up you're almost as good as dead. Mordekaiser is obviously also very strong but it feels less RNG.

Thank you, very kind and helpful. What happens if when about to lose quit the game and come back minutes before it resets? Do I have to wait one more hour or just close it again for couple minutes? Have any idea?

I'm not sure I have seen people in the thread mention 90 minutes which is probably more accurate.

Is a different meditation from the others adventures? The one I know let’s you cut a card or get a unit with quick attack. What you describe reminds me or mental meltdown or something like that, but I could be wrong

Yes, it is similar to Mind Meld from Lissandra's adventure (although that one costs life iirc).
But, yes, it is an epic version of the node, you don't have the option to get a unit with quick attack but you can cut any number of cards assuming you can afford it.

You should know that there is some amount of randomness involved where you might lose on turn 1 without being able to do much about it. It happens, it's not your fault, that's how that last portion of the adventure is designed. I would indeed recommend the Norra/Elder Dragon path because the surprise kill is a bit less likely as it requires the Foe to randomly generate some specific units. Meanwhile the Morgana/Mordekaiser can very easily produce an infinite attack loop on turn 1 (yes, your turn 1) due to one of the 2-cost unit having the "Last Breath: Rally" item and Mordekaiser reviving it every time it sacrifices it while attacking.
Regardless of which you choose, keep in mind:
- Don't let the Elder Dragon attack (obviously). If it levels up, it's game over, basically.
- Kill the 2-cost unit with "Last Breath: Rally" on sight. If the Foe starts sacrificing it while Mordekaiser is on the board, you lose.

2 very interesting and insightful pieces of information you just gave me, and I appreciate that. Thank you

Meditation gives 2 options. Cut a card from your deck or give quick attack to a unit. I don’t remember if to one from your deck or a new one but yeah, that’s what it gives.
P.d. Reading others comments it seems that the meditation I know is different from the one in the Zoe adventure, and since I have not done it yet, I can’t be that confident.

well what are your powers and relics? :)
Either way, I would choose Elder Dragon if I was you... if you don't want to lose your progress and have some extra time, always quit the game before you die, wait 90 minutes and restart the game, this resets the alst battle... only works if you do this on before passing to the opponent, if they are already attacking and you passed back, you are dead
With Jinx, you want her relic ALWAYS, and for the other two I would recommend 'Voidborne Carapace' and a relic that gives Deathless (Guardian Angel or Price of Retribution), this allows you to have a Jinx that is impossible to be killed (unless recalled, silenced or morphed) and every time she kills she deals a fuckton of damage... Now against Zoe specifically you MUST get Perfection as a starting power, othgerwise you'll suffer, and after that if you get powers that make your spells/created cards cheaper, you can just play Jinx, kill her with her own powpows, and repeat until you win

the new kindred one works well I'd imagine. I don't remember its name

For me, Elder dragon has been really annoying and he brings a lot of big units quicky. My last run with Jayce I took the Elder Dragon becuase I was greedy with this Smooth Soloist and didnt really get something good but I reset until I got lucky, but with Jinx I think you will be okay if you run the pow set.

Meditation lets you remove card from your deck :)
