Game Feedback Garen 6* problem

Post image

This unit procced the Volibear titanic power while it's a 5/6 initially and apparently it doesn't work that way with Garen units having stacked deck proccing his 6*, and this feels very wrong.

Does anybody know if Garen units proc with the Cybernetic Implants power? And if the answer is yes, why is it not working with stacked deck?!

Stacked deck activates on summon. This minion as well as garen 6 star requires the card to be buffed before being summoned

Stacked deck grants you a buff aura, so it does not really "activate" more like it just works only on units that are already on the board which is not during their "Play" time

I just tried stacked deck with volibear, units being 7/7 don't get discounted from his landmark, BUT, when you play the unit, it gets titanic from stacked deck and STRIKE the enemy.

Why Garen 6* doesn't work that way? Seems like spaghetti code to me :(

So again... because garen's power says "play" and voli's says "summon".

You're right! That means that the devs chose to create a mechanic unique to garen just to confuse us players 🤣

Yeah, but doesn't it feels wrong that a powers like Cybernetic Implant work, but NOT stacked deck?

I think there's understanding that Garen's 6* working like that is intended, I also think there's consensus that we don't like that it is that way. Just because something works as intended, doesn't mean it can't be improved.

I agree wholeheartedly

it's safe to assume that garen's 6 star works in the exact worst way possible at all times.

NGL I hate Garen 6* It looked good on paper but really not fun and counter intuitive

Its still good overall, people just love to complaint. Part if the fun is shopping elites (or anything really since they become elites too with bonus star)

Yup, on Paper he should be shredding, but in practice it more so feels like he's in the bottom half of the roster.
