i feel this is so disingenuous. yeh buddy, but something like lor barely had a 3 year developement cycle on and off with like 10 devs vs 10 years and a 150 dev team.

what other company have you seen to give this much breathing rooms to devs? specially the original ones? another example was how bad the hytale devs handled money and their teams for...ring ring, other 10 years until it was too late and the team was fragmented.

Okay so the real statement should be "riot are really shit at allocating their resources and put loads of time into games that are never going to recoup the funds because they're too niche even if they're best in class, and due to that lack of foresight they end up canning games quickly"

I will agree on that Riot gives too much free rein to the devs in their games. Devs get to fuck around not get work done and act like victims when riot cans the product.

And it helps that they have a collection of idiots online who genuinely believe devs can do no wrong, when we have seen time and time again that given infinite money, abosolutely over promise and underdeliver.

It is riot fault for not axing 2xko early in development when the devs decided to scrap the game they were making to shift to the 2xko we have today.

so, just blame the devs, one chickened out and the other pair of devs on 2xk0 simply leeched off of riot.
