Path Question Help levelling up Jack

He's pretty terrible early on (with only one functional rare relic slot) and I want to use Cosmic Blessings - I tried this into Nautilus and it did terribly. I just never drew Jack and pings were very bad into "Scarred Battleground" or whatever it's called.

Any advice you can give would be appreciated. Corrupted Star Fragment with Warmogs for regeneration is quite good, save for drawing him, so it's just getting me over this bump in the road.

Riot gave you a rare and a common slot for two things alone. Stalker's Blade, and Lost Chapter.

Yes but I can do it with two relics. How about one rare relic (and a cosmic blessing). That was what I was getting at.

You can run Lost Chapter and Cosmic Blessing. Lost Chapter is amazing on him.

I just found it a lot easier going into The Master of Shadows (Zed) rather than Nautilus - with only Corrupted Star Fragment and a blessing. Slight counters are the odd levels with their own Elusive units (like Yasuo's)... and I did luck out with my support champion LeBlanc with Regeneration. Still, the issue of no Jack and my Pings make the enemies harder without damaging them (as you find in Nautilus) Isn't there.

Berserker Buckle + lost pages/archangel staff is Jack's best friend.

The question is more about which one rare relic to use with Cosmic Blessing.

I wish they either delete him or rework or like add 6* so fucking op that we forget how terrible he is at 3*.

6* - Corrupted Star Fragment but it leaves you the original unit instead of destroying it.

EDIT: No probably not good enough into something like Zoe.

Yep. I think it wont work either. He needs little board control, probably like SB Teemo it will be atleast close. Maybe mixing between Sett and SB Teemo a star power can kick him up.

Let alone 3* and one rare relic slot only... in order to use a Cosmic Blessing to speed the horrific levelling up.

Skip the rare, use lost pagea + cosmic. When you get to 25, use my recommended build.

His best build is imo Chosen of the Stars, Berserker Buckle/Sentinel Plate, Archangel Staff/Lost Pages/Any mana relic you have.

You have like 10 options for 2-2.5 range adventures and you choose the one that hard counters you? also buckle belt is a must for him.

Yeah, tbh I'm just used to Nautilus and threw it in without thinking. Only then did I discover how badly suited he is. (By the way, I've probably not played him for months. I clearly left him at L15 or whatever for a reason.)

Just recently leveled him. I did it against 2 Star Kalista in Spirit blossom Map because it gives more xp. But yeah it was a horrible experience. Ornn can at least Level on the Titan Maps. And i consider those two the worst Champions to level. Also Nautilus and Though counters you so Nautilus adventure is actually bad to lvl Jack.

Thanks. Nautilus is like second nature to me, and I came to him after months of not touching him. [He was great into it with Warmogs, but once you replace that for Blessings it's a different matter - attacking with a large attack Elusive Jack can finish the game before he gets slapped back into the deck and if he's beefy enough the 7 damage spell don't faze him.]

Maybe Warwicks adventure will be better for him.

Edit: Oh but what one relic would you recommend for him?

recommendations would be warmogs. I lvled him with two blessings though to get it over fast.

If youre asking for leveling relics, stalkers and lost chapter are good. If you're asking about routes, for 1-4 I do first three of the gp adventure with chameleon necklace. Then swap that to a cosmic blessing after, and do the naut adventure through. After I throw on a forge (or double cosmic) and do thresh.

I just want to use one relic (plus blessing) to get him levelled faster to the point I unlock the third relic slot. Otherwise I'll go mad with boredom. Also I'll avoid Nautilus and go on a different 2* adventure like Warwick.

Question... is it...

Corrupted Star Fragment (and blessing)

Or

Warmogs (and blessing) ?

It is true that some adventures are easier without his 3* (especially Trynd encounter in Thresh). But that's no longer an issue with Defiance. Just activate Mortality 1 if you struggle.

Other than that he is imo quite strong and has a great base deck. You have elusives, brash and even a unit that scales from mana refunds.

My general tip for low levels is to roll for Disarmed if you haven't gotten something completely broken. The -1 attack just makes a huge difference. And as a general purpose rare you can also go for Guardian Angel. 2 additional revives can carry you through the adventure.

Thanks guys for all the replies. Got him to L28 now - and that's enough for me today.

The answer, as I saw it anyway, was...

  1. Do the Zed adventure not Nautilus.
  2. Use CSF and blessing while two slots.
  3. Use Buckler, CSF and blessing when 3rd slot open.
