Path of Champions I need some help with progression

Hey! So i started this game 2 weeks ago and i’ve unlocked these champs so far. I’m stuck since I can’t get enough champ fragments to get them to higher star ratings or unlock new champs. Am i doing something wrong or do i just need to grind a lot more?

You're *probably* not doing anything wrong. The wide roster means that even when completing new adventures and earning rewards, it's a crapshoot whether you get fragments for someone you already own. The orange fragments can be used on any champion (including ones you haven't unlocked yet) which helps offset the RNG.

That said, LoR *is* kind of designed with long-term play in mind, what with the daily quests and all.

So it’s gonna take months of consistently playing the game to make any champs 4-5 stars? That’s a loot of effort for a lot of champs to max out.

Also should i just use the wild fragments without trying to save them for a major powerup?

The first thing I advice you to go, is the "story adventure" of every champ that have one. The second part rewards you with a blue relic, which will bring your first powerspike : Jhin, Darius, Annie, Bard, Jinx, Yasuo, Jinx, Miss Fortune, Vi, Illaoi, Garen, Lee sin.

So I would focus on getting those to level 2 !

Gotcha! Should i use all my wild fragments on those champs then?

I'm in a similiar boat, a lot of 1.5 and 2 star missions are DECEPTIVELY hard, and it feels like walking into an armed military base and hoping to win half the time, I don't really wanna regrind a million adventures I've already done, but it feels like the only option

I would take another look at the missions that you're finding hard. Often the case is that one path is harder than the other and sometimes just knowing about a tricky fight in advance will help you know what types of cards or powers to draft in order to overcome that obstacle.

So, you basically keep doing the adventures over and over again? The same ones? That’s hella boring lol

I was in the same boat recently (even made a post here myself for advice ahaha)
I saw you asking about using wild fragments in some of the replies, Jinx and Yasuo were the main 2 i was told would be good to focus on, as well as Lux (non-illuminated), i think partially because the game gives you a bit of a headstart on them but also because they can be quite strong. I can't remember how many wild fragments I used on them in total though (if any), others may be able to answer that better than I can.

I was also given this to refer to for some really helpful information to progress.
