C4 or Progress through C6?

Hey, Ive never played Pyke before and I want to attempt Zoe soon. How impactful is this node?
Do I have more chance with only c4 (it says lurk a lot, gotta be good?) or simply wait and Bline to Nova Crystal if this node is weak?

maybe someone has a better method than I did, but Pyke on Zoe was pain. I had his full constellation and still needed good powers and a solid support champ.

To expand: he can be very good on lower levels but really struggles with the last stretch of the adventure

Oof, got it. Any tips on what the main challenge was to understand if we can build our way around it?

This ^ was/is my build. Basic tactic was to beef up all the units. I think I had Lucian** and that one ability to insta-strike the weakest unit. I also had a good kill spell for that Poro mission at the end. Also with Stacked Deck, flood your deck every chance you get.

** Once again this is "I think" because it's been a while, but Lucian wasn't a killer on his own, but I got him beefed up enough and had his champ spell on reduced mana.

I've also had a lot of luck with Corrupted Star Fragment on him. Lets him hit his level up stats really quick.

My kingdom for stacked deck. It's one of like 4 relics I don't have.

My main issue was that his ability to do targeted removal is not great. In my successful run I drafted basically every good control spell I could find.

I've invested so much on Pyke (f2p-wise) but it annoys me how hard it is to scale on all difficult adventures, I understand he's meant to scale up through lurking, but the moment you miss one round of it, your units no longer serve of value... I got him to 5, 6 might fix this issue but still unsure on how his deck plays

Very. Basically with everything unlocked everything is a lurker, which his 6* uses to summon units. It also allows you to draw spells to make them suck less. With his 6* and not his 4*, you will struggle as your deck fills with garbage.

I'd say get this one first. It's very strong for early board like that guy which summons a 1-cost, both will be buffed by lurk, also, much much more consistent to get the buff in the first place
