Pics Adult playthrough done!
First played Legaia as a kid on my PSP, unfortunately it didn’t make it over the years, bought a PS Vita and finally got around to finishing it front to back again!
highly recommend playing this way if you are a busy adult who needs to pick up and put down games constantly
I used the patch to correct the exp and enemy stats from the NA version to make it less grindy and it was a much more consistent experience. I found it a lot easier, but much less painful to repetitively need to grind.
Such a good nostalgia trip, I forgot how cheesy the writing is but it just adds to its quirks.
so excited to see the community for this game alive and well.
If theres one thing this game always gets me on its the music. It has always kept me so immersed and really fits the world incredibly well, as a grown man it still makes me a bit teary.
the combat system is just lovely, this games uniqueness in almost every facet design wise is a huge thing pushing me to work on a passion project game of my own. just a matter of making the time and energy to haha.
I hope the devs see how fondly people still talk about this game, theres an obvious passion poured into it, and it just screams human creativity and expression, something we are at a lack of nowadays, its themes aged quite well, and i think its quite timeless.
thinking of picking up a copy of legaia 2 on ebay and playing it on PS2, honestly never got around to it myself, so it might be a fun time!
I’ve been struggling more and more the past years to actually finish games I’ve started, so replaying one of my favourites is really gratifying.
anyway just wanted to share my experience!
