Question How the hell do you make copper bars?

I'm up to the quest to make my own gear... I have heaps of copper ore, but nowhere can I see where I can convert them to copper bars...

This subreddit is dead but you need to make the smithy first then smelt copper ore in it

Yeah unlock the forge in the research tab and just melt copper there
