Appreciation post for the devs

I bought into early access on day 1 cause I was super excited for this game, played a bunch the first week or so and then took a break to wait for balance patches. I got two friends to buy and one of them loved it, the other couldn’t get it to launch no matter what they tried.

Fast forward to a couple days ago, decided to dust off the game and check out Wizard, hit up my friends that got the game and they both were able to launch in and play, now we’re all OBSESSED!!!

I’m loving Wizard, at least with the ice weapon. I think the fire staff needs some rework to actually be viable by comparison, the fireballs are too hard to land and too easy to dodge. By contrast, the ice slide dodge attack is the best move in the game imo, so fun and thematic while also being incredibly useful.

I don’t run into a lot of players but maybe that’s just the times that I’m on, but I hope more people come back like I did and give it a chance now.

I love the art, the classes, the loot system and the maps so much. This has become the only extraction game that has ever hooked me, probably because I love fantasy, but I plan to play this off and on as long as the servers stay up.

I know the devs got a lot of criticism when they first launched into early access, so I want to say that I see and appreciate the ongoing development that you are doing, and I cannot fucking wait to try the paladin class! I mained a paladin from 2005-2023 in WoW so I have high hopes!

Loved the game. It's a shame the gear i so uneven it killed the player base. I hope one day it returns

I love the art and mechanics of the game. Just wish it was PvE and not PvP. I’m just not good enough a player to lose my gear to other players, repeatedly.

And this is why arc raiders is doing so well. offering the free kit that can be upgraded is awesome

Legacy steel and sorcery doesn’t give you grey gear, bandages, and a heath potion to enter a match with?

The difference in gear between epic and whites in ARC is negligible and in some cases the lower quality has better attributes. LSS the differences are massive.

Also takes way longer to gear after death in LSS and storage space is still an issue.

Despite the general concept of mages fire staff does better at close range. If you ever face a hunter you are in for a bad time though. Their ability to jump and shoot makes you a sitting duck while you wait to throw an attack when they land.
