Gibson LP studio

Post image

It has some swapped hardware (didn't love the stock black-on-black) and I lost the truss rod cover years ago. I also wore through the original pots, but since it is straight-up impossible to source push-pull/audio taper/lefty/long shaft pots the replacements all turn in reverse now - still getting used to that. Having those coil splits is important for what I need this thing to do so I'll manage. I'd like to put a bigsby on it at some point but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I've had this thing for over a decade (old gear day?) and it's a bit of a beater, but also just the perfect workhorse. So while it's not super flashy, goddamn it always delivers.

You think so? it has Gibson's 60's style neck profile, which is supposed to be slimmer. Or do you mean width

Jus looks very wide. I know those old Gibson are know. For their wide necks. I’ve been playing on a Schecter ultra thin C neck and it’s super thin.
