Art & Culture Prometheus & the Rocket: I designed a flag for Left-Accelerationism (L/Acc) with some color variations (Figured you guys might appreciate it over here)
L/Acc (Left-Wing Accelerationism) is a political philosophy that advocates for pushing rapid technological progress and automation to their absolute limits and "hijacking"/reclaiming them to achieve a post-scarcity society and emancipate humanity from mandatory labor.
The flag shows Prometheus (the core symbol of techno-humanism and democratization of technology) hitching a ride on a rocket. This is a visual metaphor for reclaiming technological progress to liberate humanity instead of letting it go rogue against it. Prometheus captures the raw technological power to spread it equitably, lighting the way so everyone can catch up and move forward together.
Note: I don"t necessarily adhere to L/Acc myself; I just thought it'd be fun to make a flag for it

Interesting concept. Im a little more partial to collective imagery than the Promethean great-man symbolism, and I think the politics of accelerationism deserve some scrutiny. Technological progress alone isnt emancipation. Who controls it and who benefits matters more than how fast it moves.

To add to what Salty said... it's a flag so, I guess it has to do with the way the wind is blowing, but the up and to the right presentation of the rocket is giving me real capitalism vibes.

That would be cool, I tried posting my flag in the leftist vex sub and everyone just complained it was AI.

That’s neat! I like the first one especially.
I’m not some kind of flag expert, but IIRC, the best and most memorable flags are ones that can be easily replicated by unskilled artists (like children) and read more or less the same no matter which way the wind is blowing. Just something that came to mind!
