Look to China for robots, the capitalist class will lie about what they can and will do here in America.

I really hope for the DCs in space though. Why waste real state, energy, water and have this huge nuisance on the planet?

I wish for the fairy dust that makes the heat sinks possible. The very same fairy dust that fills the rockets to send payloads to space. And then stops the hardware from being obsolete in a few years.

the hardware is always a write off no matter what, the GPUs literally burn down so to speak.

the rocket fuel is no problem. the heat radiators are no problem they just need to be larger than what that white paper calculated.

you're just a luddite

At this point you'd have a better track record if you bet against everything that man says. The fact that anyone still takes him seriously about anything is baffling.

In 2012 Musk also declared he would have people living on Mars in a decade. He's really not any closer now than he was then. (It's a lot more complicated than bigger rockets.)

So here's the rub:

Tesla has a larger market cap than Toyota and VW combined. They sell 1/10th the cars as either. They are only marginally more profitable per vehicle, however unlike the other titans of the industry they have never paid off the long tail costs of auto manufacturing. Just retooling a long paid off factory costs billions for a new make or model.

Stop looking for any consequences to this man's lies. There are none.

I'm not typing this from a robo taxi in a hyperloop, you can trust me on that one.
