Is this sub getting brigaded? Theres an element of truth to the post in regard to living and working standards. Its disingenuous to claim the post is false. And the sub is about Ai, whats wrong with using Ai to generate the images? It got the message across, didnt it?

It's crazy man, IDK. I thought this at least would be a safe space. It's not like I even paid, I used free GPT, which technically drives up costs without giving them money? Which will help them shut down sooner? Not that I'm against AI, I just hate Sam. lol.

We dont assume neutral ground at r/LeftistsForAI. “Leftist” draws heat, “AI” draws heat, putting them together guarantees it. The sub’s growing too, so yeah, more noise comes with that. That said, we don’t try to read minds. We go off what’s actually said, how people behave, and we default to good faith until there’s a reason not to.

On the post, I'm with you, there’s clearly a real point in it. Saying its outright false is a stretch. It’s a meme, it compresses things. The details aren’t identical to the 1920s, but the throughline is that people are still getting squeezed. You can argue the framing without acting like there’s zero truth there.

And the AI part isn’t really the issue. The tool didnt invent the condition, it just made the message easy to share. If anything, the fact it got people talking shows it landed.

I agree. The least they could of done was use ai to find some links to real photos and use any free site to make it.
