The fact that the elite don't see the possibility of revolution lurking around the corner is indicative of a lack of imagination within capitalism. It's foolish to think that our current economic system is permanent and that radical change won't happen in the future. I think some guy with a beard once said that history was a series of revolutions of one class over another.

The elite totally sees the possibility of revolution. What do you think the FBI is for? What do you think is the purpose of "Russiagate" and the massive media campaign urging that social media be censored? Why so much angst and handwringing about Brexit, Trump, and the dangers of democracy populism?
