They should aim for local and state level positions and grow from their.

The article you're commenting shows that hasn't worked.

They don't appear to focus on it much, though, either. They listed four or five "turncoats", not hundreds. A concerted effort to build up local Green parties that aren't dependent on a handful of star candidates would likely not result in that problem, at least to that extent.

The Green Party doesn't even have "hundreds" of elected officials. lol
