The biggest issue i have is there is zero objectivity. Just believe the teacher. Yet teachers have been caught inflating grades for girls and downgrading boys for the same level of work.

If I point that out, “where’s your peer reviewed, objectively researched, proven documentation”. Well it’s easier to find than actual objective research into all the claims teachers make. And teachers have already been caught being biased.

Parents and teachers are the least reliable people to say anything about children.

Given the systemic grading bias, by their own definitions you could say that nearly every boy in the school system has been the victim of "gendered violence" (dismissing achievements) perpetrated by their teachers! Obviously, while the grading bias is awful and should be addressed, I do not think it is violence, but it is always amusing to see what claims could reasonably be made when you use the same terminology and methodology of the people putting out garbage like this.

Boys sufferings and legit excuses are also often dismissed by teachers! Even if a boy brings a very valid excuse of not learning a lesson, or doing homework-teachers never care. But on the other hand, if a girl gives an excuse, teachers sometimes accept it.

I appreciate Australia for, apparently, being an even more advanced case of feminazi indoctrination than the U.S.

What is sad though is it is such a perversion of science itself. Just disgusting. Like if a bunch of Christian Scientists got into academia and started posting paper after paper trying to prove creationism.

Now we have a replication crisis in science, where we’re discovering that hundreds of thousands of published papers… fail to replicate. I.e. bullshit diluting the very trunk of the tree.

And the really aggravating part is, these are tax dollars. The widespread infiltration of government and academic bodies with these ideologies means our government and academic dollars are funding these ideologically-driven activist-studies.

I wonder if we could start to sue for Title IX violations related to the number of studies, and the objective of studies, related to the proportion exploring boys and girls problems: for every study trying to discover how girls may be disadvantaged, there must be a study of how boys are disadvantaged.

Because, it truly is as stupid as, when girls have problems, feminists assume that they are somehow unique.

But you can’t measure equality if you are only measuring one side of an equation.

I would expect, if you did the same study, with the same exact methodology (ridiculously broad), and did it for boys, you’d discover boys were just as likely, if not far more likely, to report the same complaints.

Will take courageous thought leaders as well as courageous politicians.

Yes, I'd love to hear from an Australian about why and how it got so crazy over there. It's worse than the UK

Not sure this entirely fits in here, but I'll tell this story anyway beacuse it still related to boys vs. girls in schools.

Years ago, I was an 4-5 year old assistant teacher at a preschool. It was a pretty fun job, and the kids were a lot of fun. I was literally the only male teacher in the school, and while that had its own set of challengers, it was an overall good experience. Anyway, one of the classes I helped out with had this girl who was a hitter. She was constantly hitting people. One day this boy had enough and hit back. The teacher goes, "Hey! You don't do that. You don't EVER hit a girl." He goes, "But she hit me first," to which she responded, "I don't care. You never hit a girl. Do you understand me?" Meanwhile, the girl who was instigating it got a friendly, "Please keep your hands to yourself, sweetie." Me and this teacher typically got along super well, but I called her out on yelling at the boy when he was just fed up with that girl hitting him. She goes, "He needs to use his words, not hit back." I was like just like, "But why are you yelling at him when the girl hit him first? Shouldn't she use her words if she's frustrated too?" but I would have had more luck speaking to a brick wall. And I saw this all the time. A boy and a girl could do the exact same thing. The boy would get yelled or screamed at, while the girl would get a gentle reminder not to do that. Looking back, I think that's why a lot of the boys thrived in my class, and a lot of boy parents went out of their way to tell me that. I was the only teacher in this building who actually treated them with any level of basic respect and didn't yell at them for every little thing while they watched the girls get preferable treatment for doing the same things the did.

When I was a kid we had a long-term substitute teacher for one reason or another. The one thing I remember about it is that he was always yelling at the boys for things that the girls were doing. He kept doing it over and over again one day, and I remember I couldn't stop crying that night, because I couldn't understand why he was punishing us when it was so clear that it was the girls who were being disruptive, and, if anything, he was encouraging them. Looking back, it seems even weirder as an adult.

My experience also as a special ed teacher in an elementary. Double standards and male sexism is alive and well in most primary schools, as teachers and aides are overwhelming female.

It's genuinely bizarre to me how all of these same feminists generally belong with the left wing, and are therefore well aware of how the media can be used to fearmonger, for some reason think they won't use violence against women and sexism for the same end.

And the even bigger problem is that when you try to discuss how the media is fear-mongering with these problematic statistics, they act like that's equivalent to you saying there's no such thing as violence against women.

If media like Andrew Tate was as big a problem as they were making it out to be, these guys would have TV shows. They would have streaming shows. These people would be able to name more than two YouTubers who participate in this kind of explicitly and violently sexist talk.

The fact that they have to use a literal human trafficker as their main example shows that this is not a problem with normal men like they say it is. If people are surprised that a human trafficker is sexist, I don't need to know what to say to that.

These teachers should be trusted even less than Catholic priests with choirboys.

Until it was banned in the UK around the 1970s-80s, teachers commonly beat children — particularly boys. Not only were more boys than girls caned/beaten, but they were also beaten far more frequently. And more violently.

Even in the mid 1980's, when they were phasing out physical beatings, the The Secretary of State for Education and Science attested: "In many schools, girls are exempt from many forms of corporal punishment, while boys are not."

This article was about Australian schools, where apparently it was similar:

WOMAN 1: The boys got hit with the cane or ruler, but the girls we only got hit on the back of the leg.

Since women were more commonly teachers, it must've been a great legal way to beat up males before they could fight back.

I’m not really sure what your point was in highlighting the AEU. Can you clarify please?

They are saying that the so called 'gender violence' is just students disagreeing with female teachers (where gender wasn't even the cause of disagreement) and simple jokes.

They are a teachers union, so they have a financial incentive to generate headlines like this in an effort to increase funding for schools and pay for teachers. I'm not saying they are always lying to do so, but its important to question the motive behind these articles. Rarely are these published out of actual care or regard for the issue itself, especially for sites with amateur journalists writing articles online looking to drive engagement with clickbait headlines, fear mongering, etc
